It's great to see your father enjoying himself there. When my dad, a Vietnam vet, went back years ago I thought he was going to re-start the war. But he had a great time and the people were wonderful to him. Then I went back with him and my mother to reconnect with that side of the family. Word of warning though! Both he and I got the worst sunburn of our lives at a beach resort at Mui Ne. Make sure you and especially your father watch your sun exposure!
