As soon as I saw that bag of missiles in your hand I new exactly what was in the bottom of that box, lol. I also have one from when I was a kid, still mostly complete though a couple pieces are broken and need replacement. Still love it though, my brother and I got hundreds of hours of fun out of the Whale. 100% easily one of the top 5 best Joe vehicles ever. I totally understand your loss for words at being gifted such a rare and mint condition item as this. That's just awesome. =D

Wow! The WHALE. What a gift! I'll never forget that afternoon back in 1984 when my mom convinced me to spend the $27 I saved on "lots of smaller things" instead of buying the WHALE. I've regretted it ever since. I evetually started restoring one I bought a few years back but I'm still not done.

I got the Whale right after an amazing Christmas with money relatives sent . Right after my little brother did the same at Thrifty drug store .(western USA ) I still remember sleeping in a tent we got for Christmas and enjoying our new Whales . Nothing better than that memory . I have a great replacement Whale now and another half way there . Thx !

That's a great mystery box! Ripcord was my first Joe figure as a kid, and every time I see one it brings back all those cool kid birthday party memories. Love the Whale! My friend gave me his when he moved during childhood and while of course it didn't have all the pieces, it still got my Joes from Point A to B. That's a great centerpiece for your Joes!

i have thought about making a toy channel before, mostly stopped by having absolutely no knowledge or experience at all in editing and so on and having no equipment. but yeah if i ever do make a channel and it were to get at all popular would be TERRINLE at doing unboxing videos. i am just a VERY reserved person and i do not react at east not publicly and that would make me feel terrible if someone sent me some really cool stuff, but likewise i would feel really cringe if i tried to put on a show about it. which is kind of weird because i enjoy giving people i like things that i know they have wanted. i also wouldnt want to do unboxing videos because frankly people may send me really cool stuff but i spend a decent amount of time just getting rid of things i dont actually want or have room for. now i would feel bad having something given to me that i dont really want and perhaps have even gotten rid of already because i have focused my collection more. anyway im not sure why i am rambling like this, about me me me. congrats on the grail Tony. and great gift MVargo97.

Has anyone else noticed, that Hasbro's price increases have matched what consumers have been paying plus tax each time? 19.99 plus tax 22-23. Hasbro goes to 22.99. 22.99 plus tax 24-25, Hasbro goes to 24.99. 24.99 plus tax 26-27, Hasbro goes to 26.99. Next will be 26.99 plus tax, 30-32, Hasbro will go to 30 or 31.99, Deluxes will go to 35 or 37.99. If you buy it, pay the taxes they see it as the consumers are willing to pay that, so let's raise prices.

I can't find a good condition whale for love nor money , I don't like jealousy however I have to admit , I'm jealous watching this , although its lovely to see the genuine joy on your face , the authenticity of your video content is awesome ,and it's obvious to all watching that we get to see the authentic ,genuine real you , not some screen version that's doesn't represent who you are . Tundra Stalker was my one and only Stalker I had as a kid. I loved that figure and with his kayak, mask and weapons made him awesome to play with as a kid. What a great bunch of Joes to be gifted!
