Yeah, feeding is going to be a little trial and error. Hopefully we'll have good algae growth soon so I won't have to worry about that as much.

So the reason why you had baby seamonkeys when you were a kid. As you stated, you followed the directions. Well, there are eggs in packet #1. When you waited your 24 hours, they were hatching, and you were adding your second packet. Good luck 2 years from the future!

How many watts is your thermometer? Its recommended you use 2.5 watts to however many gallons the tank is. Hope that helps ! Awesome tank!

The water is around 76° F right now. I have a large heater and honestly don't know the wattage. I put in two small 5 watt heaters too. I'll keep an eye on the temp.

How many instant water purifiers per gallon

I used ten PAIRS of packets #1 & #2 per gallon. They should always be used in pairs as both contain the necessary salts and eggs for the environment.

how do you work out how many packets you need to water? I have a 9 literally tank that I would like to use to grow some of these but I don't know how many packets or aquarium salt I would need

Each pair of SM packets #1 & #2 is good for 12oz of water.

Do you remember what brand of sand did you use? I'm getting mixed reviews. Some say they're safe for saltwater but reduce algae, others don't say anything about salt water at all. Starting a new tank and love the black sand.

Ok, i clicked on this video thinking "ok so how is he going to mix up the water and what is the ratio to salt", but no! I proceeded to see probably 100 packets of purifier and eggs. What an absolute beast!! LOVE IT!

I know over here in the UK the packets cost around 7.99 for just the packets 1-3 as a starter pack.... no tank or anything. Anyways hats off to you the tanks look amazing (binge watched your videos last night). love the Hogwarts one! was thinking of doing this myself but Im going to use normal brine shrimp and sea salt and hope for the best!
