It seems that Omega helped Epica to find the right balance with a real orchestra and choirs in the studio. Arcana sounds grand and epic, without losing that band feeling in the process. I’m confident that Epica is yet to release their biggest opus so far with the upcoming album!

Epica forever and ever! I don’t know how it’s possible to keep on creating such unbelievably impressive music. They continuously push themselves without losing the essence of what makes their music so grandiose and unique. They’ve always been very creative with their music videos and this one is spectacular. I think one of their best. Simone looks beautiful - like an enchanting fae of sorts. The costumes and sets are amazing. The ending with Mark really gave me shivers. I hoped the rest of the band would be unmasked as well, but I suppose it’s more haunting this way. Congratulations Epica.

We're moving away from the album format, it makes more sense for bands to make songs and release them and keep growing their repertoire like that, than being forced into making an entire album if you think about it.

They work especially well in an album format, telling a whole story together in all its depths and beauty. In between there might be room for random singles and EP’s, such as The Alchemy Project. Nightwish will probably always stick to full albums, it’s just who they are.

I like that it's Ghostbusters without being Ghostbusters, and that you preferred warm colours to the obvious cold/blue colometry that one would expect with ghost stories and haunted houses. The editing is really cool and spooky. Good job everyone!

Well I'd say Arcana isn't exactly the typical material for a first single, I think I actually prefer it that way. Not every song has to be approachable. Even if it's a single (but that might get them less views though). Still, usually less approachable songs tend to be more enjoyable for me.
