Epica is absolutely incredible live. The keyboard is set on like a little roller coaster track so that the keyboardist Coen can maneuver around the stage. Also, when they play the song Sancta Terra live, the keyboardist, two guitarists and bassist go and mingle in the crowd while they play the ending. Just an all around great show when they play. I recommend seeing them every time they come to town

So I had never heard Epica before, but Myrkur was opening for them here back in April. I really wanted to see Myrkur, so I bought some tickets. The first band, Oceans of Slumber (from Texas) blew me away and made #1 on my Top Metal Albums of 2018... nice surprise, eh? Then Myrkur performed and it was fantastic, as I expected it would be. I only wish she had a longer set. Anyway, my wife and I decided to stick around to see what Epica would be like (honestly, I was never a fan of Symphonic Metal before this show)... and they were so amazing we stuck around for the entire show. Money well spent!!!

The Zenith is a venue in Paris for this show but we have several Zenith in France (in Touloulse for example) generally big indoor venues for big medium size concerts ! Love the video guys !

The Zenith is a big venue in Paris where you can put about 6000 persons in it ! It was the biggest venue that Epica has ever done in their whole career and it was sold out ! So the show was very special for the band. I was there and the show was completely awesome ! You should try this French metal called : Eths ! They split up in 2016 unfortunately but they still worth it.

I know this is an older video but as an Epica fan, I come across these videos a lot. Been a fan for 10 years. Seen them 4 times. You’ve not lived till you’ve seen them live. Last show I went to was in 2017, and they did this “Wall of Epica” in the little venue I was at. Not to mention earlier that night, while their keyboardist, Coen, was crowd surfing, their guitarist, Isaac snuck into the crowd directly behind me. They truly do put on one hell of a good show. Them and Lacuna Coil (another band you guys should check out, they opened for Epica when I saw them in 2017) are at the top of my list of bands I’ve seen live.

Seen them live many times in the past... I have a very crappy video from years ago (2008) doing the song The Obsessive Devotion... You can hear the sound was very hard. Was very close at them, on stage at on point, because of my wedding proposal (that's another story, and not this concert) but... I find them more and more commercial these days... Still love their older songs though :)

Hell yes!! I'm new to your channel fellas but it's quickly become my favourite reaction channel. I can tell we share similar taste in music!! You should check out Project Aegis. The track is called angel in the ashes. It's a power metal collaboration song with all the great elements that make power metal awesome. Epic singing, soloing, riffs, power fists, and that hint of cheese that true fans love.

If you guys haven't yet, check out songs by The Warning and also songs by Motion Device. They're both more hard rock than metal but they are both very talented. I've been to three Epica concerts and the band always has so much energy on stage. They are one of my favorite bands to see live.

If you're in the mood for some great blacknroll viking madness check out Kvelertak - Mjød/Blodtørst , Hetfield and Slash are huge fans btw. And last but not least: one of the greatest vocalist in metal/hard rock today is Norwegian: Jørn Lande - I walk Alone, Jorn - Hourglass - perfect hard rock.
