The key to the Two Wolves Tale is integration. The internal conflict occurs when there is an energetic imbalance. The black Wolf symbolizing the ego and the white Wolf the purity of Spirit are at constant war with one another. Each one seeking to dominate its counterpart. BUT one cannot exist without the other as a WHOLE being. The misconception is that by feeding the light and ignoring the darkness, it grows weak, vice versa. Instead, it tips the balance in the opposite direction. This is referred to as spiritual bypassing. Only when we accept the darkness within ourselves can we begin to integrate. And in doing so, become the True Light, vibrating from a place of perfect equilibrium...I just realized what I wrote sounds like the lyrics to an Epica song. Which is why Epica is my number 1.

Oh my goodness, I love how the band was going crazy headbanging and feeling the songs in the back (and that one with the phone lights) and then you look at the other people listening very seriously to the songs. It's funny, cute and totally relatable (I most likely will be reacting like the band during the first few hundred listens of the album, haha). Also, aaaaah, the snippets! I am way too hyped. Waaaayyyyyy to hyped. It's going to be the best record ever! The story of the song with the wolves is really interesting. I'm very curious to hear the song and see the video. Thanks again to Epica for these vlogs, giving us fans insight and behind-the-scenes juicy stuff to tide us over until the album release

The story about this Cheeroke grandfather, having this conversation whit his grandson. They are discussing life and he's teaching him some lessons of life, and one of this lessons is: "Two wolves within" We all have this two wolves inside of us and there's a battle going on this two wolves are fighting each other, one if this wolves is evil is anger, and the sorrow, greed, arrogant, self pity. The other wolf is good, love, joy, hope, serenity, generousity, empathy and compassion, and this two wolves are battling with each other, and the grandson is curious, he says: -Who of this wolves is winning? and the old wise Cherokee says, simply the one you feed the most. La historia de un abuelo cherokee, teniendo una conversación con su nieto. Están hablando sobre la vida y él le está enseñando algunas lecciones de vida, y una de estas lecciones es: "Dos lobos dentro" Todos tenemos estos dos lobos dentro de nosotros y hay una batalla en curso, estos dos lobos están peleando entre sí, uno de estos lobos es malvado, es ira, dolor, codicia, arrogancia, autocompasión. El otro lobo es bueno, amor, alegría, esperanza, serenidad, generosidad, empatía y compasión. Estos dos lobos están peleando entre sí, y el nieto tiene curiosidad, dice: ¿Quién de estos lobos está ganando? y el viejo sabio cherokee dice, simplemente el que más te queda.
