man they show so much, the choir, that invited singer, some guitars and even parts of songs with Simone singing and Mark growling.... He is so much better at growling, it is deeper and fuller, using is stomach, really good to see and she is so much more agile and powerful. Really excited to see them live in a few months!

To be honest Epica is the only symphonic metal band now that has never disappointed me. I keep my fingers crossed for them but I already conclude watching these two episodes that it will be another splendid album and there's nothing to worry about. They are evolving all the time (more choral arrangements in Quantium Enigma) but they're still faithful to their roots

I had to wait 4 months to kill my curiosity about the song that starts in 8:20 in this video. It's called "Fight your demons" and everybody that heard it agree that this song deserved to be in this album!

Aw! You had so much fun with the different instruments. I loved Isaac's face with the gong, and Coen looked like he was about to leap with glee, lol. Also, the piano parts alone sound amazingly beautiful. The orchestra and the little tid-bits... Ermergherrrrrrrrrrrd!!!!!! Mark's and Simone's vocals? Perfect already. I can see it. I can hear it. The Holographic Principle is going to be the best music Epica has ever made! As I already said, the energy of the band, the atmosphere surrouding the recording is so pleasing and positive. It's not business or the creation of hits that's the goal here, but the art of music itself, where it can go, what you can do to improve your sound. The musicality and the lyrics are both important, the band is as cohesive and enthusiastic as they can get after more than 10 years together for the most part, and it's lovely to get a look at the work they've done to bring out this album. I really can't wait!

I was actually waiting for the vocal parts caus my feelings towards quantum enigma were that they had an AMAZING instrumental record and simone holding back or not bringing that 'power' factor to the songs(maybe due to key in which they were recorded, IDK). but these two bits here really do sound more bombastic, and more orchestrated and (EVEN) better sounding. I wanna get my hands on it fast!

The death growls from Mark sound enhanced and processed in the final product. While I am glad that Epica is being honest with this aspect of things, I am a bit disappointed that he doesn't have a more brutal sound.

I agree, he doesn't seem to try to make them more powerful. They're still quite good, just sound very rough and the studio processing of the vocals makes them sound unnatural. But I know the album will still be a masterpiece and it doesn't bother me much so yeah.
