If you decide to dive into Jinjer's discography - be prepared that they tend to do things in their own unique ways. Usually, songs take multiple listenings, so they can be a bit demanding at times but always rewarding. I've been a fan of Jinjer and Tatiana since 2017. Welcome aboard.

@@czarkastik3667Welcome to the Jinjer Army! They're even better live than on the albums. In fact they're one of the best live bands I've seen, in almost 50 years of shows. You just missed a US headlining tour (if you're in the US). There are plenty of great live videos. The studio tracks are killer too. If you haven't already, I'd recommend you check out Audiotree - From Nothing. Great interview clips in between three blistering songs live in studio. Hope you enjoy the journey. My favorite band since Rush retired.

What do you mean? Most people sing with an accent if it's not their first language
@minkamaree
@minkamaree 6 күн бұрын
My guess of what they would mean by that is...Sortof like how there are people born outside of America, with accents of their homeland when they speak English as a second language and even English as a first language. For some reason they will perform and record vocals sounding very American English-y. The band 'The Animals' for example... Listen to their song "House of The Rising Sun". The vocalist is Eric Burdon and he's British from England I believe, but he didn't sound so to me. The only giveaway really, in my opinion, is the first time he sings "they call the rising sun" the way he sings "call" seemed like a British accent and other times he sang "call" it was American English accent. Easy to miss that slip if you don't pay enough attention. If it wasn't for the slip, I'd of guessed they were from America.

For anyone who was not there, let me paint you a picture When Spiritbox played Soft Spine, they, out of nowhere, brought Poppy on stage. I immediately recognized her scream and was ecstatic. A couple songs later, they play Yellowjacket, and that's when I realized that Architects played after Spiritbox's show, so I knew it was all but guaranteed Sam Carter would be a guest vocalist. Lo and behold, he was. Two incredible guest singers on stage so close to each other was an amazing experience all on its own, but I thought that was the end of it. Two guest vocalists? That alone is crazy, truly such a feat, but alas, it's all over, right? THE VERY NEXT SONG is Circle With Me, and out of nowhere they pull out Tatiana Shmayluk. It caught us so off guard. ANOTHER fantastic guest vocalist? Three of them back to back to back? It was easily the highlight of the whole festival. I didn't think anything could top Slipknot's 25th Anniversary show, but here we are

I know, right?! I'm guessing this was mixed/mastered with the signal that came straight into the board. The front of house for this venue was likely responsible for Tati's volume issues.

Bro, same, I was near front row of main 2 with my girl waiting on Staind and when I saw Tati show up on the big screen, I was SCREAMING! I'm a Tati fanboy, I'll admit it, Jinjer was one of the top reasons I wanted to go to LTL and I'm so glad my girl convinced me to go.

@@starkiller34 Just want to add this, because it comes up a lot in r/music…. It is 100% cool to go to a show alone. I’ve done it dozens of times because none of my friends are into some of the bands I love. The best thing to remember is that once you get to the show, you’re with your metal family! Nicest crowds you’ll ever meet at a concert.

Yeah. Courtney is improving every year and getting stronger and deeper, she works hard and it pays off. Also very clean natural voice. Tati remains a freak of nature though. She is unparalleled and you can hear it when the both of them go hard after the drop. Tati is literally opening a portal to hell. Jesus fuck is she amazing.
