one of the basic laws of the universe is "the one is the all, the all is the one" so whatever person, space, object, thought, whatever you look at. you can descipher the rest of the universe from it in many ways. So I'd say the holographic principle is part of this fundamental law. here is an example. Epica is the best band of music in the world! therefore being part of the all, you could say this is the best universe

I´ve aways thought the same about our illusions and reality, our souls and the world surrounding us,now I know that I am not the only strange one...Though it might seem negativity, it´s the real truth..each one of us takes the path of their minds an not of their souls... Hope someday this finally changes, but, as it is today I see it too difficult..Hope this poetry, music like this and a lot of people may make the difference...!! I loved Epica since the begginning, they are -besides the beauty of their music and Simone´s voice in itself-the only band that has this kind of lyrics....yet spiritual and good centered but in total touch with reality..

There was kinda a theme with Epica songs before. A popular theme, and frankly a successful one, was to have the 'standard' part of the song in the first half. That is the opening, verse, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, and then in the second half the band would take you on this ridiculous musical journey that included some of the best I have ever heard, and then wrap up with another chorus. I loved that. I still do. But it was starting to get predictable. I found myself listening to new Epica songs thinking to myself, "okay this song is okay but when is it really gonna get good?" This masterpiece might be their Magnum Opus because it is truly remarkable from beginning to end.

Not gonna lie, I do not like all tracks from last three Epica albums (Requiem For The Indifferent, The Quantum Enigma and The Holographic Principle), but this track gotta be one of the best Epica tracks EVER! What I really like is that it is back to the roots of the band, ultimate choir eargasm experience, Mark is finally getting more role as the growler-screamer, and everything is perfect in unison, and really using elements from the first four albums, which I like in their entirety (The Phantom Agony, Consign To Oblivion, The Divine Conspiracy and Design Your Universe), and really a grand, majestic epic in the veins of Consign To Oblivion, Chasing The Dragon, The Divine Conspiracy, Kingdom Of Heaven tracks. Also, this one and Ascension - Dream State Armageddon really comes close to the perfection of two of my all-time fav Epica tracks, Death Of A Dream and The Obsessive Devotion.
