Perfect on stage moment. These two ladies are very different as singers and they are also different personalities. Naturally I love them both. I saw Tarja (with her former band) and Sharon with WT almost at the same time at the Akkarock festival in 2005, and who could have thought that they would have these wonderful live duets together in 2024.

Por supuesto!! El tono de voz de Tarja es más oscuro no es que se le va encima es que se distingue más la voz aguda de Sharon, pero puedes escuchar las notas agudas de Tarja también en la parte de “I believed” 😉

Nobody would care about Amy if she wasn't from the US where they don't have much of this kind of music. Thats why she is just soo overrated. If you compare her to the singers from european symphonic metal bands she would maybe not even in the top 10.

@@beldin2987 I get what you're saying, and I agree that Amy is not technically on par with these singers here. I also know that she was very sick during that tour though. Also, Amy has a very unique timber which is something you can't change. Some people are born with beautiful voices and that's it. She is also a great composer and singers quite well although not on Tarjas level.

I agree that it was lazy, however, Amy was in fact hitting all her notes and nailed her harmonies whilst Sharon was not hitting her notes. Here Sharon is actually hitting her notes but Tarja's excesive usage of vibrato and glissando is ruining the harmonies. I like the three singers and have seen them live before, but I comment as a musician myself. When you're doing vibrato or glissando you're hitting nearby notes to the one you're singing and by doing it when trying to harmonize you can accidentally create dissonance instead of consonance, which is what is happening here, specially because Tarja's "embellishments" are sometimes waaaay too desynchronized from Sharon's lines.

That is indeed the last duet that is still missing. Would love to see those two Dutch icons together. I've seen Tarja live in september and she was really great together with Marko. This song might not be the right choice for a duet, just like The Reckoning with Amy Lee wasn't the right choice to my opinion. That didn't work either. I do like to see them sing together though, so i accept everywhich song they take on. Paradise works great because it is meant to be.
