I tried to beat Grand Theft Auto IV without gaining any wanted stars. Here's how it went.

The only rules for this playthrough were no committing any crimes that affected stats. I used the "stars attained" stat to count how many wanted stars I got and I also tried to minimize the other crime stats like cars stolen, people run over, fires started. Be sure to subscribe if you enjoy challenge videos like this. Next up I'll probably do this challenge in more GTA games, but I also play games like TLOU, Spider-Man PS5, and Red Dead Redemption so you never know what'll come next.

Let me know if there are any wanted stars I could’ve avoided! Also I know people have mentioned there’s a good mod to lower fps/fix issues with the physics and some cutscenes but I wanted to avoid all mods (even tho I’m 99.9% sure the one mentioned wouldn’t affect stats) - The 2 stars in Undertaker can actually be avoided as @abluecar5375 pointed out. In Derrick’s funeral you get chased by cops, but in Francis’ funeral no cops chase you. So if you do this challenge kill Francis since his remove wanted stars ability is useless anyway.

Totally agreed I think it still looks amazing and a lot of the attention to detail is super impressive even by 2024 standards. Wish the PC port was less buggy but it still holds up really well

I love Rockshit's attention to detail in GTAlV. Francis McReary can only remove up to 3 stars from Niko because after that the feds take over the pursuit, but the "law chick" Niko can date is able to remove ALL 6 because she's Niko's very own Saul Goodman.

I played GTA IV after GTA V but i LOVE that game. Everything is perfect. Driving system, shooting, story, characters, ragdoll, and of course whole world is that detailed that i wouldn't thought that game has 15 yo(maybe just because of graphics)

I think there's a deadzone for gta 4, probably due to it being "wonderfully" ported from consoles. I think a mod fixes that, but that's against the rules.

Yep exactly that! Makes aiming in this game much less satisfying bc I often would need to step to the right/left instead of moving my mouse to aim more precisely lol. Definitely some mods could’ve fixed this, but I mostly didn’t use those since I wasn’t sure how they would affect wanted stars and cause the actual number to be higher/lower than it should be.

6:27 the reason controlling bikes are so difficult in this game is that many play at over 60fps. For whatever reason, playing over 60fps breaks bike physics and you will slide all over the place you dont even need mods to correct this. just lock the game to 60 in the graphics settings

Also, you can literally just get the EFLC Fusion Fix mod to lock your FPS lower than 60 FPS

I didnt glitch out on quick time event in last heli jump mission and had 60 fps whole time. Maybe i found ingenious fix by having habit of switching jump and sprint keys in every gta game i play, shift as jump and spacebar as sprint! I remember vaguely reading some post about it this was somehow preventing the glitch!

Don't lean forward when turning, or at low speed etc. It just makes the rear tire loose and spin, making it hard to drive for some reasons.

Initially yes, but that’s why I replayed the mission where I stole a car for Brucie so I could have an extra car. I didn’t need to turn in a cop car specifically, but Manny took whatever car I drove during that mission. Since I had a car that wasn’t a cop car I let him take that one instead. But also having two cop cars saved ended up being useless since I really only needed to have one for a few missions during the whole story lol.

Yep it’s a real thing but it only happens when you drop a friend off and the passenger side of the car is blocked so the only way for them to get out is to kick Niko out of the car and exit through the driver’s side lol

GTA 4 is a terrible game in all aspects the story was terrible Niko Wants To Live A Normal Life But He Just Keeps Killing Like What's Stopping You And He is A Miserable Prick even More Miserable Than Michael From GTA V and the explanation on why he is so miserable is because of "War Trauma" And He Wants To Die he implies That Crime Does Not Pay But He Never Actually Stops Doing It He Says Killing Is Bad But He Never Actually Stops Killing I Wish They Killed him At The End Its Like The Game Tries To Tell 2 Different Stories The Story of Niko Bellic And The Story Of Liberty City and Fails Miserably at Telling Each One and niko did the "war trauma" to himself in one conversation with Kate on activities he says that roman's mother had saved money and wanted to send both niko and Roman to The USA But Niko Wanted To Stay and Fight.The Atmosphere was Terrible Everything Was Dark,Gritty,Filthy and Depressing without a particular Reason the new "Physics" are Terrible One Touch When Driving And Niko Flies Up In The Air And Dies there are no customisation options unlike In SA no gyms,no barbers,no houses only apartments,you can't swim underwater you can't Customize Your Car there are no garages the map is too small and everything looks the same, The map was originally going To Be Bigger With A Liberty State Featuring Liberty City,Alderney,Carcer City and A Country Side But They Cut It To Save Time.The Console Ports Run Like Potatoes at 15fps and the pc port is terrible.there are no separate saves if you have the complete edition and have gta 4 completed and want to complete EFLC One Wrong Click on the Save Menu And you Lose your progress they should have made the base game saves locked In EFLC to not run that risk you have to buy GTA 4 and EFLC On Two Different Platforms.the map pause music is terrible.The Conclusion is That GTA 4 IS A game That Took 1 Step Forward And 2 Steps Backwards the only good things about this game are the Friends,The New Phone The GPS,The gun sounds and The DLC.If You Wanna Play GTA 4 Play EFLC.Otherwise Everything Else Is Terrible.

Please help me. I have problems with the 3 most wanted men: Rodrigo Maxwell, Freddy Paparo and Tyler Pickrell. The first two, as soon as I get to the indicated point the yellow dot disappears and the wanted people don't come out and I have to either commit suicide or restart the game. The last one neither the name nor the photo appears in the database and if I go to set it on the radar it won't let me do it.
