And, start private practice after completing internship. And, after completing UG you are eligible for ayurvedic medical officer but post graduation is desirable.

मान्यवर, आप की बात तो सही है पर आज हम भारतीयों ने आधुनिक बनने की मची इस होड़ मे अपने ही प्राचीन भारतीय सभ्यता, संस्कृति, मान्यताओ, शिक्षा वयवस्था (जो गुरुकुलो मे पढाई जाती थी) वो चाहे आयुर्वेद , शल्य चिकित्सा (सर्जरी) , संस्कृत भाषा , वेदों - उपनिषदों का ज्ञान और अपने महाग्रंथो के प्रति सम्मान ही क्यों न हो या चाहे वो वैदिक गणित जिनको हमारे महर्षियो ने , संतो ने, सधुओ ने और प्राचीन अखंड भारत के आचार्यो ने जिसे अपनी एकाग्रता , बुद्धि , तप और अपने अपार ज्ञान के भंडार से लिखा है । उसे आज हम भारतीय खोते जा रहे है या कहे तो खो ही दिया है माना की हम कई सौ साल गुलाम रहे कभी मुगलों के , कभी पुर्तगाल के तो कभी अंग्रेजो के जिन्होंने हमे खूब लूटा , अत्याचार किये , मंदिर तोड़े , विश्विविध्यालय को जलाए जिनमे हमारे गुरु - आचार्य शिक्षा तथा विद्या दोनों प्रदान किया करते थे जो हमे और हमारे अखंड भारत को कौशल , समृद्ध , सम्पूर्ण तथा विश्वगुरु बनाये रखते थे । हमारे प्राचीन भारतीय गुरुकुल विश्विविध्यालय दुनिया की आशिम ज्ञान का था। वो चाहे किसी भी छेत्र का ज्ञान क्यों न हो दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण बात तो यह है की हम अपने ही विकसित इन ज्ञान से दूर है और इन पश्चिम लोगो के ज्ञान से प्रभाबित होकर अपनी ही सभ्त्या-संस्कृति , ज्ञान ,भाषा , मान्यताओ को तुच्छ मान बैठेते है जो की हम खूब गलत कर रहे है जो ये लोग ज्ञान बाटते है ये सब हमसे ही चुरा कर ले जाया गया ज्ञान है । हमे संस्कृत भाषा नहीं आती , हिंदी ( सुध हिंदी) से दूर होते चले जा रहे है हिंदी का सही वाक्य लिखने को कह दिया जाये तो पसीने छूटने लगेंगे है परंतु अंग्रेजी भाषा को सिखने की इतनी ललसा है की होड़ मची है आखिर क्यों ? हमारे अंदर संस्कृत भाषा का इतना आभाव है की उसे पढने से भी कतराते है तो अपने ही महाकाव्ये , धार्मिक पुस्तके , उपनिषद , अनेको वेदो का ज्ञान कैसे ले पायेगे जो जैसा तोड़ - मोड़ करके बता देता है हम मान लेते है। एसा कब तक चलता रहेगा बताइए । गोरे- अंग्रेजो के समय तो हम अपनी संस्कृत भाषा के अभाव थे और आज इन काले - अंग्रजो (नेताओ) के वजह से अपनी ही भाषा के अभाव मे है। अंग्रेजो ने जो पाठ्यक्रम बनाया था उसी पाठ्यक्रम से हमे आज़ादी के इतने सालो बाद भी पढाया जा रहा इससे दुखद की बात और क्या हो सकती है जिसे अंग्रेजी मे सिलेबस कहा जाता है जो की हमारी बुद्धि को सिमित कर हमारे सोचने समझने की शक्ति को खत्म कर देती है जिससे बच्चे रतु-तोता बन जाते है ।अगर किसी प्रश्न को अपनी बुद्धि से हल करलिया तो अध्यापिका कहेगी की यह तुम्हारे सिलेबस मे नहीं है यही शिक्षा प्रणाली तो हमारे ही देश में हमे अंग्रेज मैकाले देना चाहता था आदि। जिसमे वो सफल भी रहा वो कहता था हम इस देश मे एसी शिक्षा व्यवस्था लायेंगे की हमसे आज़ाद होने के बाद भी अंग्रेजियत का गुलाम बना रहे जिससे भारत के लोग शकल से तो भारत के दिखेंगे पार सोच से अंग्रेज हो जायेंगे, अपनी ही संस्कृति को दिथ्कर्न्गे जिसमे वो सफल भी रहा । इसलिए मत करिए शक और शर्म अपनी प्राचीन भारतीय सभ्यता - संस्कृति, मान्यताओ पर और आज से ही शुरु करिए भाषा की जननी अपनी सर्वोतम संस्कृत भाषा का अध्यन क्यूंकि साइंस कहे तो विज्ञान और कुछ नहीं हमारे वेदों से निकला हुआ ज्ञान ही है जिसका हमने कभी अध्यन नहीं किया और कभी जानने की रूचि नहीं रखी। 🌺🕉जयतु संस्कृतम्, जयतु भारतम्🕉🌺

Actually, Indian students do have his honorable mention in their coursebook, but his mention is present only in the history books for higher studies, but not in the books for 5th or 6th grade kids. So if someone wants to know about the glorious past of India, he has to take either arts as his major, or has to study about it separately, which most of us Indians don't do in our academic years.
