Hmmm this is strange, have you tried installing a new version of the download? I would recommend deleting all of the Hot4D files that you have, and redownload new ones. After you get the new files, try doing the process of installing them again. you might have already done this, so sorry ahead of time if it is, just covering all the possibilities :).

Stephen M Oh when you download the files, it doesn't install it like normal software. What it does is it downloads the files you need, then you have to manualy drop them into the correct folder in the C4D plugins folder.

Thank you for the fast reply. That didnt really work but it got me going on a short mission. The problem was I had win.rar installed. I found a forum post that recommended removing it. I now have HOT4D and going to build an ocean. Thanks a lot John. I'm going to also check out your site. Also a thumbs up and I subscribed.

Hello :D! Thank you for the comment! I think the Cinema 4D Light version is stored in a different location than the regular version of C4D. You can get to your C4D light folder by going into your Adobe after effects folder, and then the C4D light folder should be located there somewhere. Let me know if you can find it :). Also, I might be wrong, but I don't think HOT4D can actually work with Cinema 4D Light, from what I read, it only works with Cinema 4D R145 and higher. I might be wrong though, so it's worth a try :).

Hello Derix :D! Thank you for your comment. I'm sorry to hear that Hot4D is giving you trouble. Can you fiend your Maxon folder under program files? Also, make sure you don't click on Program Files (x86). This file doesn't contain your C4D Maxon files. Only the Plain Program Files has Maxon in it. Let me know if this helps :)
