Is it a Mans responsibility when he is married to accommodate for the wife and kids if on a reasonable wage eg £60,000 per year or does she have to pay half for the rent even if she is looking after the kids? (As refused to accommodate for 15 years)

A mans brags to his kids that his wage is now £90,000 or above a year but tells the mother i will not pay child maintenance as they are divorced so doesnt for 1 1/2 years is this right. Also is it right although he does not pay child maintenance he still has the rights to see one of the kids (domestic violence case)
