Thank you for letting people know that they may leave, just get up and leave, if they want to. This courtesy is missing very often; nice way of "teaching". Thank you.

Thank you Dr Iqbal. I am a grandmother now of a 10 month old and am still learning to be a better parent and InshaAllah grandparent. I resonate that dislike the act not the person.

You tried. Thats what is important. Please do not be sad. Allah doesn't nullify the efforts of His servants. Plus there is a thing called QADR. Everything happens with His permission.

If you tried your best, then have the best expectations from Allah swt, he will not let your efforts go to waste. In the end, our children must go on their own journeys and find their own way back to Allah swt. May Allah grant us all hidaya

We Muslims have to learn to distinguish between "constructive criticism" i.e. criticism that is done with the intention of helping somebody improve. Or the criticism done with the intention of affecting somebody negatively or damaging their self-esteem or slandering them. Let us judge this talk by its merit & not by the credentials of the speaker.

By the way the lecture although in the west, but not for west only ( not at all from a western perspective) its in general how the parenting should be, for all over the world, I hope that the administration fixes the title in my humble suggestion.

How can parents teach their children religion WITH LOVE when they often have no love between them because their own marriage was a strategic business alliance about appeasing relatives.

Asalaamu alaikum Sir, I am a humble admirer from Japan (desi background of course!) up until 29th minute all you said was for Pakistani DADS!!! Not children actually 😂 please equip moms to train husbands who could be these parents around young children 😂

To Epic Majid, Can you please ask YQ to give a lecture on why the critical thinking is haram in Pakistani islam. I learn from YQ about theogoly and seerah because he is qualified in this field. I learn Quran from NAK because he is qualified in Arabic. Someone from Pakistan comes and gives lecture on how we should raise children in the west. I respectfully ask about his qualifications on child psychology, child education and Islam but his followers are kicking me non stop that how dare I asked this question. Have I committed blasphemy by asking this question?

Assuming you're being genuine. One does not need to be certified in a profession to share the results of research done by experts of this profession. He's a surgeon meaning he's trained in STEM to read and understand scientific literature. That's more than enough. For the entirety of your pre-university education you've been taught by people who where not certified experts to do everything you know. Did you learn basic math from a mathematician? Did you learn to cook from a chef? Teachers don't have to be experts, they just have to transmit what the experts say. That's what I'm seeing Dr Javad Iqbal do here when he says "The research shows that...". If you find mistakes or counterfactuals, please share the research that says so then we'll be happy to correct whatever we hear from him.

@konoufo I am not challenging Dr Saab and his skills in medical surgeries My question is for Epic Majid and YQ Is it haram to ask about someone's qualifications in today's world when it comes to islam. Is there a criteria for someone to give islamic talks or is it free for all?

The west is not a kuffir country. That is such a disrespecful remark to make. It is a host country to immigrants. It has very different culture and values.
