Assalamu aleykum, our beloved sheikh Yasir Qadhi. I have been researching about this topic for quite a while now. Thank you so very much! May Allah bless you . It was very very needed. Just a little addition: Dehlaviy is Uzbek not Indian. His father moved to India after moguls came to Kesh. He and his parents were from Kesh ( today’s Shahrisabz) in Uzbekistan. His mother is an Uzbek woman - Davlatnozbegim. After his father’s death at the war , his Grandfather took under his custody. His mother and grandfather were the among those very influential and well educated people in his life. We studied about Dehlaviy as Uzbek poet and writer back in school when we were kids. His poems are very very beautiful! MashaAllah.

He missed some points. - Probably it was in spring season and definetly these camels delivered calves. All known fact hormonal balance that time is different in animals and humans. Even nowadays pharmacy companies uses pregnant horses' urine for making special medications. - those murtads recovered from their disease, got benefits. It works, it's cure, remedy for some diseases and we can't deny that just because kuffars make fine at us.

As always, totally logical and based on education and knowledge. I wonder about another angle on such issues. Prophet s.w. advised to use the best available treatment at that time. So is it possible that the actual sunna is to use the best available treatment of our time.

but we must note that some medicines have animal urine in their ingredients. I don't remember any name off hand but I have the habit of studying ingredients of medicine and there was horse urine in a medicine prescribed to my mother in law

assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. While this video was great and informative i know some will ask, why DIDN'T Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala bless the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam with such knowledge of this world? After all wouldn't having knowledge of medicine and science above that of his times be yet another proof of his prophethood? What is the wisdom in not having such knowledge? Jazāk Allāhu Khayran for your efforts Shaykh Yasir and to anyone who answers my questions.

VaqasARV3 He Rasulu Allah said his prophetic proof was the Qur'an. Also Allah created him as a human among the people, so limitations to certain knowledge was not an issue to the first 3 generations.

Wailekum Assalam wrwb. My opinion would be that prophets came to guide us towards our Creator, not to spoon feed the knowledge of science and medical advancement to us since Allah swt has blessed us with the intellect to figure out and do advancements in rest of the fields and that makes us Ashraf ul Makhloqat (one of the best Creations of Allah swt). Also, there is a Ahadis (saying of the Prophet pbuh) about it. Where it talks about the cure being sent down by Allah swt before any illness/epidemic/sickness hits us. All we need to do is to make an effort and get to it. And as brother alhassan mentioned earlier, Quran itself is enough of a proof & a Miracle Alhamdulillah. I hope it clarifies your concerns and I am able to convey my thoughts in an understandable manner. InshAllah

But the dunya is the creation of Allah (s.w.t ) so it must be divine.And Mohammed (s.w.t.) is perfect and therefor cannot be wrong. Perfect means without mistakes.

md shams he did mention radiyallah anha few times. We aren’t bound to repeat in every mention. We don’t say Alayhi wasallah after mentioning Moses, Jesus or any other prophet every single time. Only exception is the Prophet Mohammad sallalahu alaihi wasallam.

It doesn’t make sense how can there be so much emphasis given on protecting oneself from the urine, yet this Hadith is claiming to drink urine? Imam Bukhari himself said “I am but a man I can make mistakes too”. The science of hadith is authenticating by comparing its origin to Quran. Go back to the Quran and compare the hadith and see if it makes sense. If it contradicts the Quran the hadith should not be taken as Authentic or should be not be then taken as divinely legislative from Allah. Some hadith is cultural not dive and some is deen which is divine we should follow. So first step is to see if the hadith contradicts with the source, the Quran. Next step then is if there is no contradiction to see if the hadith is referring to the culture or if it is divine.
