Masha'allah, I am happy this issue is being discussed openly, unjust and unfair treatment in marriages is Haram and not what Allah ordered. وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ مَوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ﴿٢١﴾ 21. And among His signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, so that you may find tranquility in them; and He planted between you love and compassion.
