Ah yes, it's this 'Time' again. Like many of the tracks here are remixes of remixes of 'Time', and I was wondering if this is one of those few more original pieces. This is not a complaint tho, I don't think there was any miss for me, and each iteration is unique enough to listen to it on it's own. Also such self referencing is a great tool for distinguishing and connecting different series.

EM is always on point when it comes to these soundtracks. 99% of kurzgesagt viewers really miss out on big sections of their videos as the music is impeccable. The reoccurring leitmotifs to big bang/limits of humanity & dark forest/alien horror are really present here. At 8:25 there’s even dyson sphere present & at 1:10 the chimes from Quasar is heard. The best part hands down is 7:57 as it's so calming & builds-up, culminating in the main theme.

i know why they do this, they have a few thumbnails check how well the vid did for the first lets say 30 mins, then change the image, and compare, whatever thumbnail did better stays, if you look hard you might find a lot of other people doing this

Love this piece (and other pieces by Epic Mountain). The main (piano) melody, or rather the chords it's based on, seem similar to those used in: Ludovico Einaudi - Nuvole Bianche (2004) John Murphy - Adagio in D minor (2006) John Legend - All of Me (2013) and, incidentally, to a bunch of other pop songs as well. (e.g. Coldplay - Paradise) Please note that I'm not trying to label this in any negative way. There's a lot of creativity in this and other pieces by Epic Mountain.
