+HiilandKew It does indeed. They definitely use "his" approach of layering harmonies (and a similar use of horns). Not sure if they had "help" or just awesome adaption skills. ;) But there certainly was an intention to go for that style (there is hardly any score that does not try to incorporate elements of existing works). I adore both this soundtrack and pretty much all of Hans' work. :)

Well, the results are far more creative than one would normally hear from Zimmer's library at Remote Control Productions. Now, the duo did reference that library, but only as a background element, proving that fresh perspectives are always a good thing in Hollywood. They really cited the unlikely combination of Wendy Carlos (the composer of the first *Tron* in '82), Max Steiner, Bernard Herrmann, John Carpenter, Vangelis, Philip Glass, and Maurice Jarre as their inspirations. But you can also hear some uncredited influences from the likes of Basil Poledouris and *Terminator* composer Brad Fiedel in some cues.
