She walked that long corridor carrying a bouquet of flowers in her little arms. Years ago she had walked that same path, with flowers in her arms and a beautiful white dress. She smiled remembering how at the end of the hall, he was waiting for her with an expression of pure happiness. With a smile that illuminated everything around him, perhaps eclipsed only by hers. She remembered the voices cheering for them, the laughter and applause they received. She remembered it all too well.. But now, only dead silence was what surrounded her. Now, she was walking the same path and carrying the same flowers, but her dress was black and at the end of that path, the only thing she could see was a box, where the body of the person she loved the most rested. The one to whom all her beautiful memories belonged and whom she could never forget.

This has got to be one of the best pieces for me on this channel. The first half paints an illustrious image of someone merilly recounting stories and fond memories they had together, a bond that particularly feels extremely powerful. In comparision, the second half feels like the sudden realisation that they'll never get to make new memories with them, nor be able to joke about old ones. That everything you've ever known, and all of the experiences you have shared have come to an end. You know that sinking feeling you get when you're depressed or you feel like something bad is going to happen and it feels like an abyss has opened up within the pits of your gut? This is what this part sounds like to me, the feeling of sinking in a pit of anguish after realising they're no longer with you and those memories are all you'll have left of them until it's your time to go. And then the conclusion of the song where we go back to the joyful reminiscence but with that added hint of sorrow, it reminds me of someone trying to move on but the underlying pain and sorrow is still there because you just cared too much and are far too attached to let it go.

Stuff like this is the reason why immortal wanderers who journey endlessly to collect stories and store them in their seemingly endless memory to keep those stories, those lives, those tragedies and hopes, loves and dreams and losses and moments of hopeless courage, recollection, and discovery safely alive in the immortal's head are my FAVORITE type of character. Not going to lie, I've been watching an anime called Frieren and the story is exactly the same as what you described basically, she's an elf that lives for thousand of years, she went on a journey with a group of heroes staying together for 10 years, after that they went separate ways and met again when they were old, Frieren is still young and gets her heart broken because of the losses of her human companions since she doesn't age like them and often remembers all the experiences she had during that 10 years of life that is nothing compared to hers and that she will never experience again the same way

to me, it reminds me of humans in every way in relation to the seasons of time and being with people, celebrating life itself as it was or is, realizing that it has such meaning, and such sorrow that can be lifted by the burden of both time, emotions, and how broken and tender the human heart truly feels, because it has so many meanings that no one can ever figure out or guess the light and emphasis on how broken someone can be when you're without true love, and why I sense it's called Only Life, because you have one life, and you equally have a choice to make of it, because love is a deep emotion, and so is hatred, and both flows the same, but when you do realize life is made of pleasure and a need to be loved, you realize how soul fitting this track alludes to the tender moments of reality and the circumstances that has lay throughout human history, and perhaps why people relate to it, because it's a death setting for both, the end and the beginning

When I was younger, I didn't really know the meaning of one life, I would play with my toys, that did not even cross my mind. Then as I grew older and, the years went by, I started to understand what exactly that meant, I was shown, in the hardest way possible. One day, on august 9th, my mother got a call, a call she'd never thought she'd have to hear, her father, my grandfather passed away, when my mother told me, I remember my mother's arms around me, sorrow in her eyes, as tears rushing down my cheeks, my heart felt as if, it shattered into a million pieces, a piece of my heart went with my grandfather. I remember feeling like, as if, I wasn't able to breathe, all the words disappearing from my mouth, nothing but, painful cries leaving it. After that, I began to understand what one life meant, even if, we aren't someone who's famous, we are always something to someone, are kindness to someone means everything, whether we know it or, not. So, now, as someone who knows what one life means, it's precious, it's special and, it always mean something to someone so, whatever you do, live your life, even if, you don't become what you thought you would, it's ok because, someone is always gonna admire your kindness...always
