Nice video! By the way I like numbers. For anyone else who also like numbers, Putting into perspective can see how much stronger are gen 2 attackers compare to gen 1. Base damage increase is a BIG deal as it acts as a multiplier. (Extra damage is a separate multiplier) At SS rank At Max 600 stacks = 600% base damage increases ONLY the STRIKE attack 940% x 6 = 5640%. (or 6580% With CUB passive, additional 100% base damage increase to LEAP + STRIKE) increase Stacks gain for 3 ping from 40 to 90 (or 126 with sig wep) increase Stacks gain for Dodge Core Attack from 40 to 90 (or 126 with sig wep) Free matrix. At SS3 rank 50% base damage Increases 3-ping Red/Yellow/Blue from 480%/420%/450% to 720%/630%/675% respectively 50% base damage Increases small/big sword dodge core attack from 400%/880% to 600%/1320% respectively First use of core attack gains additional 20 energy, but its useless if you dont swap her. Before going SSS... note that: Big sword form ULT is 2600% x 1.8(80% from memory set) = 4680% LEAP attack is 480% x 1.5(50% from memory set) = 720% (or 1200% with CUB passive, additional 100% base damage increase to LEAP + STRIKE) At SSS rank (its different in your video?) get 15% extra damage buff(?) after do 3-pings in big sword form..? 60% base damage increase for big sword form Ult is 2600% x 2.4(60% + 80% from Memory set) = 6240% 50% base damage increase for ONLY the LEAP attack is 480% x 2(50%+50% from memory set = 100%) = 960%. (or 1440% with CUB passive, additional 100% base damage increase to LEAP + STRIKE) when swapped in, Enhanace small/big sword waves damage from 40%/50% to 80%/100% respectively, plus gain 15 energy and 75 stacks every 1.5 sec. This is nice but its useless if you dont swap her. Conclusion: SSS or SS3 helps, i guess...but SS + sig wep + CUB is a good stopping point. I feel that swapping characters is still a core aspect of gameplay for SS3 and below. Maybe only SSS can justify not swapping? And If you swap characters, wont need cottie for energy and can use Darwin instead? Or is cottie future proof because of the harmonizer thingy ? Please correct me if my maths is wrong. Her core passive doesn't do damage, it just enables her basic attack (plunge) to do damage. Go for +15 attack unless you plan to SSS.
