I would also add that you can charge her core when she is in her tornado form after special dodge, letting you do her core attack immediately after the tornado is over.

Haven’t been this excited for a character since Qu. Now that I know how she plays, I think her play style is very satisfying. I love the idea of a charged guard equipped with an auto avoid that can turn into a massive attack when the button is released. I also love accumulation attacks, how she triggers ult, builds the gauge, then explodes it based on how much of the gauge accumulated. Definitely pulling her, I don’t care if she’s bad or not, she’s a ton of fun and she looks amazing!

Remember that, even if its only 2,5k bc, if you're completly f2p, this is already enough for you to not guarantee the next limited character, Karenina Daybreak. Although she is possibly a skip, since 21 is a good enough tank for the dark team.

4:05 For those who don't know you can start charging her core passive before using her fully charged freeze ult. This makes the 'freeze into core passive attack' much easier to time without her 6* weapon.

I think her ability to auto-dodge with core passive is pretty underrated. Normally, to keep the pressure up you want to spam attack all the time, which may make it hard to trigger matrix because the smaller enemies flinch and cant attack. By entering her "charging" stance, she can bait enemies attack for free matrix, and even if you cant bait a matrix, your dmg loss from "waiting" is much less punishing thanks to her huge AOE dmg from charging core passive (Sig much needed if you wanna bait like this, however).

New player here, and solely played pgr coz of those videos I saw about the new Alpha, which will be released next year for global - that aside from pgr already have it standalone pc client. And she's the only one I'll be saving for - supposedly - until I saw Haicma, and knew that she's coming next after Nanamech. So as for me liking scythe users in general, I'm not gonna skip her, I mean it's just 10 pulls, so. But the weapon though, I wish I'll win the pity and get it for her - I'll try my luck. If only they made her own un 5* weapom too, I don't like Faded Color's aesthetics 😅

Haicma's an alright character. The main draw for her is that her animations are cool and that she's hot robot girl with robo personality which makes a lot of her affection interactions really cute and funny because she doesn't have any idea what she's doing since she's literally just a sentient robot with no social skills at all. She's an alright CC character but if you already have the Ice team (Wanshi/Plume/Glory) or a team of other built Uns like Tempest/Camu/Roland/Pulao, then you don't need her as a character. For Reference, the next construct after Haicma is Karenina Radiant (Name subject to change), the new Dark Tank who IS a semi-High Investment character if you want her to be better than Kamui Tenebrion. If you are a long term planner, we are also drawing closer to Abysstigma (4patches) and Hyperreal (6).

regarding weapon resonances, wouldn't nsec transmission(+400 max dodge) resonance allow you to use her lunge attack more often and possibly deal more damage than limit break or matrix burst?

You only want to lunge after activating the ult for the increased damage so spamming it doesn't really matter

You mention that she has a mass freeze making some stages easier, is that the only thing she really brings to a un team? Like there's not gonna be a point where Haicma gets some kind of buff that makes her really beneficial right? I think I'm gonna be skipping since she doesn't add much for me having gotten all other uns up until now. Also with Dark Karenina coming, I place her way above Haicma, despite being so cool.

Omn/Constructs weapons have more priority than un so unless you have the bc available it's better to skip haicma wep as for whether you should choose nanamech or Luna wep personally I would say nanamech wep since she is a tank and benefits more from it

Somewhat major correction: Maybe someone's already mentioned this before, but I wanna point out that you can actually release the fully charged freeze while you're charging her core passive without interrupting the charge, and let go of it while the enemy is actually frozen. What this means is that her "signature weapon reliance", as said in the video, doesn't really apply. You can comfortably charge the core passive before popping freeze and let go of it as soon as you do pop it, eliminating the tight timing element on hitting with the jump slash before the frost gauge actually runs out. The signature weapon is obviously an increase in both DPS and quality of life, as she remains stationary for less time due to the charge time of the jump slash being shorter, and it also increases its base damage, but it definitely does not prevent her from fitting in the jump slash within the freeze window. So using a 5 star weapon on her is fine, if you adjust your playstyle a bit and precharge the slash before popping the freeze, then letting go of it.
