The slip of his foot at 8:10 on his second to last move with his mega runout gave it the 10/10 experience! Well done!

Really nice to see that appreciation for the work done by the setters. Topnotch Jonathan and of course Andy. People some times forget how much work goes into setting routes outdoors. Opening paths , clearing huge bushes to open a path, cleaning the routes. A lot of people end up with bad back injuries due to the hard work over the years. Setters are the reason most people are able to climb . Hats off to them

And to think that in the last La Sportiva commercial video, Jonathan's alleged weak point was steep climbs on big holds... *Goes and redpoints a sick 5.15 roof that seems to stretch forever* The man's a legend!

Glad to see guys up there wow know how to do things the right way. I battled with JB for years about how he was doing up there. Good job Andy and Jonathan. I'd like to go up there sometime with you guys. It's been maybe 10 years since I went up there. Dan Meyers told me about it back in around 1995. I knew it was going to be a great place in spite of what was going on there in the late 90s.

Nice Filmmaking! I would have only wished for an other perspective at 5:20 and afterwards. Not the whole time, just some wide angle shots to show, where he is at at the route. Good job

Wow! I remember back in the 90’s how Potosi had a bad rep for being all chipped and drilled. Seems to ha e been reinvented. Beautiful!

The movie was a totl blast! I just loved it so much! the climbing looks so sick! The only thing that I cannot support here is where he lives... I mean come on, we are on the edge with our environment and people need to start realizing that those kind of cities just kill the planet. By no mean am I a hippy-dirt-whatever but Las Vegas.... As climbers, we need to do our part as well and because we love our nature so much, maybe could we start to thing about that. I am not speaking to people who cannot afford to move or who does not have choices but the others... =) Keep Crushing and climbing hard! ( sorry to bother you all with my little shout =))

why do sport climbers stack quickdraws like that? 3 dogbones and 4 carabiners? seems like just adding more links to the safety chain? why not just use a shoulder sling to extend the bolts??? seems like the cheaper and safer option. not trying to hate, just genuinely curious. sick send, I know I'm nowhere near climbing 5.15 lmao
@jnick53584 жыл бұрын
Because shoulder slings are floppy for clipping. Also, it is what they are likely to have on hand. If there is any difference in safety it is marginal.
