That whole sequence from 06:44 with the footwork and those heinous holds up to that pocket at 07:14... God damn it looks hard! LOVE it!

His reaction when he sent it was not what I was expecting!!😂 I thought he was going to be screaming and shouting! Seriously though what an incredible route! Well done!!

I know right? He just has this look of gratitude at the end, which is awesome.

Maybe they filmed after the real fa? Could also be a option.

Jonathan is a climber who for whatever reason I don't hear name dropped all that often that often, but is an incredible climber who sends with style. Super happy to watch two videos of him this week, such great climbing. He seems to be putting down some nails climbs, looking strong.

Soooooo good! Did the video editor cut out a knee bar rest? I didn’t see when he used his knee pad and then all of a sudden he ditches it
@mrjonathansiegrist4 жыл бұрын
There’s a really sneaky knee bar just to clip the third bolt - you can barely see it in the vid. That’s all I use the pad for.

Congrats on the send, Jonathan - so badass. I noticed you’re using a lot of three finger drags with your left hand and leaving your pinky off. Any strategic reason for that? Holds just super small? Would appreciate your insight!

I give Ondra 3 years to project this, cry and flail every time he falls off, grades it 5.14 when he sends it, and says it was easy lol
@iancameron64574 жыл бұрын
Or just flash it and keep a 9a+ grade 🤷
