That IS a Colt 45. It matters less that it's wood and doesn't shoot, and more the attention to detail and workmanship. I believe Mr. Colt would've given this a firm grunt of approval.

I made a full size 1911 bodel 1913 out of wood. I whittled it out with my knives and a channeler I made for fitting the slide to the receiver.

That is the best build I have ever seen . The attention to detail is perfect , and the finished product is WoW. I mainly do steel work and a mistake is easy to fix , with a weld or grinder but I find wood is less forgiven so much respect to you Sir . cheers from Australia. :)
