Is this very painful without sedation?

No it’s not but they will give you a numbing shot It works if the doctor is good! I only works for a few months then round 2 !

@@jameswhite1319 Ok thanks I thought this procedure would last longer than a few months.

had a MBA (high frequency) yesterday. I was the Drs last procedure of the day. While in the waiting room prior to procedure, he walked to me without a greeting to mark my back. I could see he was in a bad mood. Once wheeled in, he again did not greet me like he had during the prior two diagnostic procedures. I could see his agitation while he fumbled at untying knotted up wires. During the beginning of the ablation I began to first get very dizzy to almost faint, than my speech became slow, jumbled and slurred, stroke-like. I sounded drunk. I got scared but he never reassured me. What the heck caused that?? I was later told it was a normal side effect by the nurse who wheeled me out. Speech slowly resolved over a period of 45min. Other bizarre, unexpected, and not explained things happened during the procedure. I got intense rapid shock-like spasms in my lower back & butt and my arms began to spasm and twitch. He only asked and seemed satisfied that my feet and legs were not spasming. I realize Drs are human and have bad days but damn.
