that opening bar scene - Hoshi's date leaves and the guy in the background gets bumped and he drops his cellphone and he turns around in anger and hits the other man over the head with a bottle (implied) and Hoshi's character is OBLIVIOUS to it all. I think this song & MV has a lot of deep commentary about our obsession with "screen time".... Maybe the accident was caused by him looking at his phone?.... Overall, I love the song and the MV. It's a vibe.

This song hit me so hard!! i saw in instagram that they updated song notes and one of them said that it's a song about depresion but it should seem like a break up song and i could see why haha. sadly as a person with depresion i can understand spending way too much of my time in my phone for any and all reasons that life might give me, if i had enough social energy to have a boyfriend i would for sure never look away from my phone again if we broke up.
