I'm glad it was helpful. I like it even better as I play it more. I looked at the Hummingbird as well and it is good to know it is impressive, too. It's nice having quality affordable alternatives to the extremely expensive Gibson versions.

I was really apprehensive to order this online without actually playing one. The local guitar center only had a hummingbird pro. I played, loved, and bought it. Now I feel that I will like the Dove Pro even better than the Hummingbird since I tend to like the online sound clips of the dove more…

I really love my Epiphone Dove!! From the aesthetics to the sound and feel. Its beautiful in every way and at a price where i dont have to leave it in a case wirh humidifiers and baby it too much.

I love mine. I like playing it live because the controls are simple and it looks nice without having to risk a more expensive guitar.

I bought the Alpine. I just checked online. I know they still can be bought at guitar center. But reverb and other people are already selling it for 800 bucks. Yours is going to go up in value as well no doubt. Good score don’t let it go Brother!

KOOL...but... the ej 200 jumbo body series has a better sound/tone(big difference) compared to the dove series... the dove is alot brighter , sometimes too bright... the ej 200 smokes the dove in tone... I have both ... if you get a chance, play a ej 200 epiphone.. don't get me wrong , the dove is kool

I will give one a try at the local shop. You are right, the Dove is very bright. It is good for cutting through a mix or noisy environment but not always the best option when solo.
