Many versions of this model around but, this one particular model inspired by Gibson is one of the nicest Les Paul Custom by Epiphone. This 2021 model really went all out or almost. I think is the closets to my liking.

I never thought I'd own a white guitar but I'm leaning towards the Polar White. I can finally have a Les Paul I can afford and can always upgrade the hardware a piece at a time.

Polar white is nice, yeah for the price they look nice and anything else can be mod if anything. But I like how it is stock and later if anything with discolouration can be changed quick.

I own the koa version, real sweet playing guitar. I love it for what it is. And that's a real nice sounding guitar.

The koa one is very nice....I agree for what it is, it's pretty nice for an $800 custom

Apparently, they used Wilkinson tuners for a bit because of supply issues with Grover, but they are both fit for the job 👍. I'm intrigued to see that your pups have tarnished so quickly but it's probably down to sweat acidity or something strange. Still looks good though, and at least your custom white won't turn piss coloured, like a Gibson ;-). I have this model too and I thinks it's great. Nice review 🙂

Thanks man..yeah I'm surprised too with how quick it has discolored I think it's the weather cuz I haven't used it while outside or sweating...I still like it a lot specially not aging so soon to a yellowish color

Just ordered one. Any thoughts on why the gold plating on the pickups wore so quickly? Temperature? Humidity? I don’t see how playing it would cause so much wear on the neck pickup.
@tytonidaeowls1007H Жыл бұрын
It might be the climate, I got in May so it was a bit warmer now is October so since August it has been changing probably due to the climate change. Cuz where u am it snow so it's been going back and forth with temperatures...maybe the pickups I got are faulty etc but the sound good they don't cut signal or anything so it should be fine. It's working still so i5 might be temperatures changes.

Also the bridge pickup doesn’t look worn but almost like corrosion.
@tytonidaeowls1007H Жыл бұрын
So far it might be the weather cuz there is no sign of corrosion like showing metal like corrosion. It goes back to gold once in a while so weather may play some here.
@pauljohnson36866 ай бұрын
The gold on your pickups is wearing far too soon... They must have used a very thin playing for it to come of so quickly.

Epiphone .....the "Yugo" of electric guitars.
@tonevicar-fr5gh Жыл бұрын
Epiphone..... inspired by Gibson and made off shore without a single american made part. Even the dimensions of the damn thing isn't the same as a Gibson. It doesn't play or sound like a Gibson and will never ever have a decent resale value. If something is too good to be true, it probably is. And that's the reason you find so many of these up for sale everywhere you go. They are pure garbage.

You seem to forget that America is a continent and NOT a Country...once you learned the difference, we could move forward. Until then don't bothered...really it's pointless.
@lancekovacs9298 Жыл бұрын
@@tytonidaeowls1007H no disrespect but america is short for united states of america (a rather long, clunky name) which is in fact a country. everybody knows that when we say american made we mean made in usa. but what does the semantics of the term have to do with the actual quality of the guitar? for me personally i think epiphone just has a bad reputation. i havent really liked any of the ones ive played. i don't like the headstock either. i think we should all be able to rock whatever instruments we like though because really its about each player's preference, and what instrument allows you to shine

If whoever buys one likes it, who the hell are you to tell them it isn't good enough? I'd bet money if you played both blindfolded and not able to smell them, you couldn't tell which one was which. Get off your high horse and just play what you like. It doesn't have to say gibson on the headstock to be good.
@tytonidaeowls1007H Жыл бұрын
@lancekovacs9298 man it's simple Geography. I know what you mean "American made" blah blah blah...but you can't argue with Geography and it's a fact. Maybe you considered spent 2k -3k+ on lerlarning about Geography more, instead of a guitar. If you plan to try to make apoint. No offense or offense is really not my problem. You just buy into the whole "Gibson BS" middle aged ass class targeted audience. ..hey if you got the money that's fine, but if other people liked it I don't see the problem really. Maybe it pains you to admit that maybe to you it's a decent guitar, and even that hurts you to admit to it that it may be better than a Gibson. I'm just saying, this is not arguing or anything😂🤷♂️

@@donbishop6994I think we know what type of person this guy could be😂🤷♂️ like you said no reason to thrash other guitars just because is not a Gibson...don't get me wrong is I like it a bit but there is better vastly better out there we know that😂 thanks for checking it out✌️
