Curious what "trimble" set up is? Massachusetts driller here. 22yrs experience never heard of it. But I do know quite a bit about these rigs currently running T45-11 for 6yrs.

The Trimble is the name of the GPS Unit used is setting up GPS patterns, or as Epiroc call it, HNS (Hole Navigation System). Like all techy things, they are great when then work. You just load the drill map onto a USB, stick it in the rig, and boom, your drill map is on your screen, when you select a hole, it automatically sets the hole angle, direction and depth, all with no dots on the ground. It'll even work out offset/deviation calculations for you at the touch of a button. I've used it on F9c's, T45's, C50's and D65's. There are also other systems of different names that basically do the same thing for other styles of rigs. Personally, I love it, you don't have to worry about trashing dots while tramming, and it saved me from repainting an entire patterns after it gets marked up in fluro pink, which I have serious trouble seeing lol

I agree. After Australia went covid stupid, I decided to move to another country and start a new line of work. My days of drilling are over. But, I'll still be here online and I'll still respond to any drilling related questions :)
