Secular Humanism has nothing to do with spirituality. Nothing deep.Just try to be a good person. Still Christians today believe and have witnessed people getting healed instantly, some including my self have prayed for individuals to be healed in Jesus name, and they were healed.

"Experience" falls under what used to be called the Wesleyan Quadrilateral, if I'm not mistaken.

I love this! Do I have to convert to Episcopal to attend Eucharist? I’m Catholic but I love that third leg of Reason!

No! Any baptized Christians can receive Communion in the Episcopal Church

In the old days you had to be confirmed as an Episcopalian.

@@sameash3153 I recently heard an Episcopalian priest say that they accept all of the Catholic sacraments as valid. That’s good news.

@jupiterinaries6150 Yes, Episcopal churches recognize seven sacraments. My church for instance practices confession and unction. But the catholic church does not recognize our holy orders, if that is important to you. Check the church out in my channel. Most catholics would assume it is a catholic church if they saw it. Several members here are in fact catholics.

@@sameash3153 no it’s not important to me but I think it’s unfortunate that the CC doesn’t accept them. Also what’s really been drawing me in is the homilies. I find them so practical and applicable to the issues of our time and how to bring Gods love to the world. Yes I will check out your churches channel. Thanks.

Thank you for the video. Easy to follow for someone not familiar with the church.

We only call the Church here is Australia Anglican we used to call it the Church of England and because of the C of E abbreviation some people would name it as the Christmas and Easter Church inferring only Christmas and Easter attendance

I strive to follow Christ and I love the Gospel centered teachings at my Episcopal church. I don't care who my fellow congregants vote for.

complete waste of time - episcopalians will ignore canon and any 3 legged chairs when asked to choose between Christianity and left-wing politics. Bishop Barbara Harris elected without regard to canon, Bishop Robinson elected without regard to canon. Rules are for little people.

We're supposed to be like Jesus man. Compassionate and accepting. Love above all other rules.

It is unfortunate that many Christians do not recognize that modern American left-wing politics are much more Christ-like than the right-wing politics.

@@ep4801Yes and no. You would be correct except that all the terms you're using are almost completely divorced from their actual, historical context. The "Jesus" to Whom you refer is not the real Jesus of the Scriptures who was both "compassionate" to the humble and repentant and yet righteously judgmental towards the complacently self-righteous and evildoers. He "accepted" sinners but not their sin, lovingly calling His broken image-bearers to abandon our self-destructive idolatries in exchange for our created design: to love God completely and serve the well-being of our neighbor. He demanded radical humility and self-sacrifice as well as uncompromising, total Holiness, because He is God and God is Holy (Isaiah 6). He instructed the adulterous woman to "go and sin no more"; to leave her to wallow in her sinfulness would be the opposite of love. He condemned the hypocrites as vipers and children of the Devil and yet He did so... In love. Because He is Love incarnate. To attempt to embrace His love while rejecting His wrath upon sin is to misunderstand both. His "bad news" & His Good News (Gospel) are bridged by the Cross. Blessings.
