This Buttercup series is a tremendous example of communication and respect. Wonderful owner who wants to completely form that bond. Thank you Mia

It is so rare to see people work with horses the way you do- I love it so much. THIS is how I want to learn to work with them, in a joint union, treating them like equals. I found you a while ago, but now that I've moved in with friends who own horses and I help take care of, I've come back to your content even more! Thank you for sharing your journey and beautiful training style. There is a blind horse here that I have connected with- I pray I can figure out how to work with him properly and communicate with him in a way that will help him and me understand each other. It's a bit difficult because of his lost eyesight, but I'm learning a lot with your videos

Thank you for telling horse people that horses need to be together! Single turn out where they can see other horses is not good enough.

Yes, thank you , please continue to say that over and over again until people get it !!!!!

Crazy that there are people who can actually bring themselves to abuse a horse. It is obvious that Buttercup wants to heal from her past and to trust people. She clearly wants Mia's help and friendship, but her trauma response is built in and is controlling her reaction each time. I wonder if even when a horse can break through their trauma response, if they are able to forget the past abuse, or if the memory is always there?

I think they let go, when they choose to trust again. It’s a process🥰

"It's just as fundamental as food and water, THEY NEED A HERD". Christ sake, honestly how can loving horse owners not understand this. I don't care how much $$$ you spend on your horse, or how afraid you are that they will injure themselves. You are being a stubborn, fearful, owner if you don't let your horse be a HORSE. Period. Have owned all breeds for 40+ years, and I am always learning how to be a better owner, but this common issue I see with many Foolish owners. They don't treat their horses like horses, and they wonder why they have SO many behavioral issues..🙄

Oh wow Buttercup is a beautiful horse and she wants to connect but she’s also nervous and scared trying to find a way to tell her people what she needs. So good on them for listening to her and finding someone like Mia to guide her through these struggles showing her another path while also giving her a choice and giving her owner who seems like such a kind person who loves her girl, the tools to continue helping her. Buttercup is the perfect name for her as she’s very sweet, another note the audio cuts in and out in places and you can’t hear it as well or hear it at all so it sounds muffled,if there’s a way to improve it that’d be great;thank you for another wonderful video Mia and for using your gift to give these precious souls a voice that can be heard.🐎🤗🤎🌈
