Episode #1 Climbing Our 2nd Mountain

Welcome to my NEW Elevate Up+ KZbin Channel where I briefly share key wisdom, insight and reflections from influential leaders in time. These snippets of inspiration come from leading books, audios and conversations with today's leaders. I hope this adds a positive dose of mental caffeine towards the ascent on your 2nd mountain.
Today, I was so excited to talk about this idea of having 2 mountains in our life. The 1st Mountain is about building our “resume” virtues, adding to our achievements, running after material gains to better ourselves and families; The 2nd Mountain is about ascending to a place beyond Ego, where we live FROM a place of Being, living into our “eulogy” virtues, adding to our impact, creating a last legacy in the lives of those we serve at home, vocation and the community at large.
Today’s key learning objective(s): Climbing the 1st Mountain is our self-actualization (Maslow’s term) at play and climbing the 2nd Mountain is our social actualization (new term). Once we’ve mastered the 1st Mountain, we are able to focus our time, energy and attention to the service of others, being completely
