Basically I went to lunch after my cysto case then I was assigned to do left colon with stents then I went home lol. Thats it. 1 full case for me. You guys got the whole glimpse.
Here's what my day looks like as a CST.

I’m thinking about going to school for a ST but it scares me of it being a high stress job and a lot of instruments to remember for each case 😳 I am 37, married, 3 kids and work part time as an OR tech (on the job training)for pain management. I don’t do nearly what a ST would do and it’s stress free and super easy. I currently enrolled for the fall this year 2021 but I’m so on the fence of backing out bc I’m scared. I have a month to decide. I didn’t go through with scheduling classes yet or anything but just enrolled

Thanks for the video. I am curious to know in general, what percentage of your day is spent selecting the equipment? How much is devoted to room setup and how much is spent actually working on a case? I think this field sounds really interesting and I might give it a go.

Lol I will be honest to you, turn over from one case to another is 10 minutes. That includes setting up the room, open, set up, counted. It's fasssssssssst. Most cases All cases starts at 730. We're there for huddle at 645. Get your case from charge, read it, get all your trays, open, set up, count. 10 to 15 mins. Patient will come in whether u ready or not. They won't be late
