I'm 23 years old and I recently got a temporary job at Target as a security guard, it was the best job I could get at the time and it was paying ok, enough for some basic costs. One night the night shift security guard hadn't come into work that day for some reason, he hadn't called in sick or anything he just didn't come in that day, anyway, they needed a replacement for that night, and I volunteered as they offered a bonus for whoever did the job and I needed the extra money, so I took the job. Soon the store closes and the last of my colleges checks out wishing me good luck, I say thanks and go roaming around to store for fun. We keep the lights on during night hours until I check out so it's easier for me to see things, about 10 minutes into my roaming around, I look down a long part of the store near the outdoor furniture, and baby supplies, as I look down the hall, I see something very faint at the end that appeared to be moving, I duck from it, making sure who ever it is doesn't see me, I have no idea who this could be, crazy homeless guy with a knife, some teenager that broke in. As I see the figure walk into one of the isles I then start walking twords whoever this is making sure not to make a sound. I make it to the isle that the person walked into and see nothing, I try to think of who this could be, maybe a coworker pranking me? Someone actually broke in? As I think about who this could be I look across the isle to see the entrance to a staff only area. Maybe the person went into there, and as I think this the lights to the entire store shut off, and at that's when I realize that the staff only door goes to the circuit braker room, and I panic as there is someone in there. I go hide behind some of the furniture and hope whoever this is doesn't know where I am. I hear someone open the staff only door, and what I see is the silhouette of if I had to guess about 7ft tall figure with REALLY long arms, that was also whistling the tune of "Run, Rabbit, Run" as this figure starts to walk, it starts to walk in my direction, eventually stoping in it's tracks and stops whistling as well, I stay silent as can be... The figure then starts to walk and whistle once again, and I still try to be silent as can be. The figure walks far enough away that I can't hear it anymore, I immediately get out of my hiding space and sneak around back to the security office without encountering the thing. I pack my bags and get out of the Target running to my car not even believing what I have saw. Next day as I arrive at Target I see police outside the Target, I walk in and ask what had happened, the officer told that a man had been found dead ripped and cut up sliced in half and what appeared to have been sacrificed in the electrical room, he had been recognized as Lucas R. aka the night shift guy, my heart sank to the fuc#ing floor, the officer noticed the look on my face, and asked me what was up, I told him everything as well as the fact Lucas hadn't come into work that day. He said he noted everything down and would give it to the investigator. I guess the only good thing that has come of all that is work was cancelled that day and the store didn't open, I got the bonus from my boss and left. I would quit that job soon after never even going to that Target ever again even during open hours. A few nights later I'm out with some friends at one of our favorite bars getting drinks, joking around, playing cards, and as we were playing a round of Texas holm em' I seen behind one of my friends in the window I catch a glimpse of a what appeared to be a 7ft tall silhouette. I have never been the same since. The End

Here is something a little cool and kind of nerdy. There are different “stories” really they are timelines. In every universe there are different Timelines of that universe. Like let’s say in a different timeline everything was completely gone, a black hole destroyed all of it. It’s all GONE. That would be an alternate timeline. Or, let’s say movies, I’m just gonna pick the first movie that pops up on Netflix (which was a Pokémon movie) were real. That would also be an alternative timeline. A universe is full of those timelines. Imagine that you somehow broke the time-space-continuum and escaped into a different timeline. Wouldn’t that be cool? Yeah it would. Until you find yourself and create a time and space paradox. Then it’s Ggs
