@darryllmaybe38812 ай бұрын
I really like the slow realization this show makes you go through from thinking that N could regenerate in the first episode thanks to human super science, to realizing that there might be some kind of magic involved, to realizing that what actually happened was humans using super science to try and control something far beyond themselves, and they failed.
@Queue36122 ай бұрын
N V and J all use the solver to self heal, they even have that same liquid animation thing going on. The only reason they have their personalites is because Cyn is using her administrator privilages to hold back/block the solver.
@darryllmaybe38812 ай бұрын
@@Queue3612 Yeah, I know, but we don't know that in the beginning. I'm saying it's just believable enough in the beginning that your first thought is that it's probably just super sophisticated technology, but I'm praising that the show slowly starts making you question just how much of the crazy stuff can you explain that with before it fully makes you realize what's actually going on.
@ClippyEclipse273Күн бұрын
Isn’t that just nano-technology however? The absolute solver could also have of been built with that for regenerative stuff

@enigmavixen36662 ай бұрын
Even after multiple watches and trying to piece everything together, the story and character dynamics still have a bunch of plot holes and leaves a lot of important questions unanswered, especially in regards to the lore with the solver. 1- we still don’t know what the absolute solver even is. Is it a rouge AI? Is it a sentient virus? Is it an innate program that all drones have that just activates under certain conditions? 2- what exactly was the solver's goal and motive? Why does it want to exterminate all life and devour planets? 3- how is the solver capable of interacting with, influencing, and bending reality the way it does? I.e telekinesis, teleportation, mutation, creating bio matter, black holes, etc 4- how exactly does the solver go about creating murder drones? Does it have to build each one manually or does it have a secret assembly plant/ headquarters somewhere that mass produces them? 5- if the solver is capable of cloning the murder drones, why didn’t it just redeploy more of them? Why only bring back J when it technically has an entire army at it’s beck and call? 6- why did the solver want to kill off the worker drones when it could have infected and used them as potential hosts or converted them into murder drones like it did with N,V, and J? Why did it need spires constructed all over the planet in the first place? 7- if earth was destroyed then where has cyn been this whole time prior to arriving on copper 9? Why didn’t she show up sooner if was was aware of what was happening? 8- considering how the solver operates, are cyn and uzi it’s only hosts or are there more of them scattered across the universe? 9- and probably the biggest question, is humanity extinct or are they still alive somewhere on other planets? If they are alive, are they aware of the solver and the threat it poses to the universe? Or are they occupied with some kind of intergalactic robot apocalypse war? These are just a few of the MANY questions i have that the show doesn’t address…
@trixfox452 ай бұрын
Idk I watched all of it yesterday for the very first time and understood the story pretty well. I just was curious if I missed anything about the absolute solvers origin and if there is any information how Uzi now lives with cyn. Which doesn't really get explained anywhere/we don't get shown. Otherwise I just kept confusing V and J xD

On the topic of Episode 7, I absolutely love the religious tones. The humans didn't understand the Solver, they saw it like some sort of demon posessing the drones and treated it that way - using religious symbols like a crucifix to ward off the Solver, having words like "exorcism" and using a Pentagram to contain Nori after her solver acts out. Or in the fight between Uzi, Nori and N after having both hands cut off to avoid Uzi/the Solver using NULL, when Nori throws the pickaxe at Uzi she spreads out her arms, entering a pose looking like a crucifixed person and wanting the pickaxe to hit her - knowing N couldn't bear the sight of this. (Also I love how Nori mom-slapped the posession out of Uzi after reading that N and Uzi are apparently "hanging out", imagine your moms slap interrupting an Eldritch monsters mind control). Regarding the solver in episode 8, Nori said that the Solver needs a host. It will look for a host to posess and use their body, and if Uzi hadn't "offered" herself as host the Solver would've either re-entered Cyn or find another person, possibly repeating the cycle as Uzi has shown good control over her own Solver inherited by Nori. Uzi isn't posessed by Cyn in the end, it's the Solver. Cyn is just the drone the Solver used. But it seems like the Solver loves bows, lmao.
@festivevacancy2 ай бұрын
The solver likes bows because it lived with N,V,J and was another pet/friend of Tessa so the solver got an identity from this environment
@kalpea_varis2 ай бұрын
@@festivevacancy I like the headcanon of the Solver using bows on its own hosts & some of the Disassembly Drones because it saw Tessa with bows and loved the style lol
@brightbulb16472 ай бұрын
Precisely my thoughts too. Glad other people think likewise as well. I've always considered the Absolute Solver to be some kind of unholy eldritch entity manifesting within host AI. It's not meant to be understood, hence why the Humans on Copper 9 couldn't really understand it. It bends the laws of the universe and straight up breaks physics, and the entity itself The Solver of the Absolute Fabric doesn't make things easy when it loves to mess with people too.
@Queue36122 ай бұрын
It was Uzi reading the message that snapper her out of it, not Noris slap. Its the connection/bond between Uzi and N that keeps Uzi herself.
@jaxman70112 ай бұрын
I think one thing you're forgetting is that Cyn was the original program/body that the solver originated from. The "Solver" is basically just Cyn's mutated AI programming. So Cyn and the Solver are one being.

I kinda got my own theory for why N and V stopped eating workers in the end. I don't think that the worker's oil is essential for their survival as a base drone. I think it's more of a programming thing done by Cyn during the creation of the murder drones. Because Cyn is their host or admin for the first 5 episodes, I think it's possible that she put her hunger in as an essential part of their programming to make sure every worker (and or living organism) is killed so that she can eat the planet in peace. In episode 5, while N and V are rebooting, you can see that their admin changed from Cyn to Darkwolf17, which is Uzi. For me, this is the point where their hunger for drone oil ended. I don't know if Uzi is cured of needing drone oil to access the absolute solver, though. She did reject Cyn as the host of the Solver in episode 8 but kinda fused Cyn into her consciousness, so I dunno about her. But yeah, that's my theory.

They only needed the oil to prevent overheating, and Uzi is shown to be able to resist the overheating anyway in episode 4 when she confronts V, so I think that they never really needed it, and a fridge or a cold shower probably would've also done the trick. It seems they hunt more because of the primal predatory urge placed inside them, which I'm guessing was put there to make them so the killing that they were sent to the planet in the first place for.

@purpledshadow2 ай бұрын
Earth was destroyed, Cyn invaded other exoplanets & Copper 9 half imploded which killed all humans there. So most likely all humans died. J always knew that “Tessa” was Cyn but the company sending them to Copper 9 was false memories. Cyn was the one who turned them into disassembly drones, not the company.
@OutcastsRedeemerАй бұрын
The humans didn't send the murder drones. That was Cyn attempting to stop the humans from finding the "cure". The last ditch attempt by the remaining humans on the Copper 9 was what happened in the cathedral which resulted in a backdoor to the colony which is what happened to all the other colonies. Except the backdoor here failed when Uzi's "mom" was uploaded with the cure and stopped Cyn from spreading out. Uzi's mom then locks the facility down activating the raptor drones because she was apart of Cyn's "collective" for a short while and understood what she was planning. Cyn the launches the murder drones to kill the worker drones destroy the cure and reopen her backdoor. But that is stopped by both the worker drones becoming sentient and hiding and the raptor drones keeping the murder drones from reaching the interior of the cathedral facility.

I'm just happy that Nuzi is canon and that V survived and literally tamed the Sentinal that was trying to kill her. Also, the whole Uzi and Cyn being one entity, I think it's more like Uzi is the main one in control and has a small fragment of Cyn's AI in her. I say a small fragment because the majority was destroyed/killed. I think it's really cool that Uzi now has contrpl of not only her Absolute Solver, but also Cyn's. Also, I feel like Doll is still somewhat alive but dormant inside Uzi's AI/consciousness, similar to how Cyn is. I mean, think about it: Cyn ate Doll's core, and then Uzi ate Cyn's core/heart. Finally, there's a slim chance that Yeva is alive as her core somewhere, similar to how Nori was alive as her core. My theory about the Absolute Solver is that the Absolute Solver AI program was originally something humans created in some form of experiment. However, the experiment failed and the Absolute Solver program went rogue, and digitally evolved into what we know it as in the show.

Thanks for the explanation. This is one of those stories you have to watch on slow motion three times to actually understand what's going on. If you just watch it like a marvel movie you'll end up missing vast majority of the crucial details, which will result in a very confusing experience. For example, most of the character motives were a complete mystery to me and none of the sudden changes made any sense. The whole plot felt pretty random.

It literally said that they want to do more with Uzi and N saying "Finally, we wanted to say that although this is the end of Murder Drones as a series, we may want to do more with Uzi and N.... who knows! We can do anything we want with indie animation." If it is not announced on glitch x 2024 which is unlikely, then they will announce it later. It will be either mini-episodes or manga/comic, or even both! But if not both then mini-episodes has a higher chance of happening. This video did help in understanding the show. I feel like there were enough gaps in the story that made it hard to follow, minor details that were too brief yet extremely important and too much dialogue that was too hard to hear or understand that made the story very difficult to follow.

Even your explanation was a little confusing. Am I right to assume that Cyn was basically just a plot device and only served to give the Absolute Solver access to her body so that it could use her identity, blend in at the manor and do all that other freaky stuff? Because I see a LOT of people interpreting Cyn as having full control with the Absolute Solver just being a tool for her.
@equinevolt35802 ай бұрын
Hi there! I was just as confused as you are about that same topic. Someone replied to my comment and explained that; the Solver is it's own separate entity. Cyn as far as we're aware is just, dead. The Solver was using her body as a host and basically caused all the events of the story to happen using her body. I think this guy recapped the lore very well EXCEPT for the ending, referring to the Solver as Cyn inside Uzi now. There is no Cyn...she's dead. It's just the Solver in Uzi now and both of them coexisting in the same body. I think he should not have referred to the Solver as Cyn because that is very confusing, not just to me but others as I have seen (such as your comment). I hope that helps!

@@equinevolt3580 Yeah, I figured that was the case. In any event, I’m almost positive people just say Cyn because calling it Absolute Solver every time would get annoying.

In my theory, Cyn and the AS is 2 different beings. Already in ep5, there was like a small conversation btw the AS and later on ‘Cyn’, which the AS, by some ways that the humans knew might happened but have genuinely no idea how, take over the body and install Cyn as its host. In a way, the AS is just the symbiote and Cyn is the Eddie in Venom. And just like the symbiote, the AS kind of aligned itself with the decision of Cyn to end humanity. The reason for it is kind of a no brainer, i mean if you are a drone that nearly dedicated its whole purpose to serving humanity, only to be unceremoniously dumped into your dead brethren and sisters, forgotten by both man and time just because you carried out the order wrongly or the warranty expired, I’m pretty sure you will develop anti-human sentiments. It also explains why the subtitles call Cyn/tessa as the AS and not them, bc the voice is from the AS, but N,V,J and Uzi didn’t know that they were 2 separate beings until the end of ep 8, which clearly showcase that the AS and Cyn/Tessa is 2 different things and that the AS can be passed from one person to another, just like Venom
@JamesTrifolium2 ай бұрын
@@EthanChua-v3p What Eddie and Venom had was at least mutually beneficial. From what I'm seeing (Looking back at that conversation in #5), it looks more like the Solver abused Cyn's desire for self-preservation.
@EthanChua-v3p2 ай бұрын
@@JamesTrifolium true, but if AS also wants to destroy humanity, it kinda want to use a host that also have anti-human sentiments, so in a way, both will mutually benefit by destroying humanity

Should the show comeback I could see them exploring Uzi dealing with being a part of the Solver, only problem with that idea is I don't think that's enough since the first season had mystery and intrigue and all that, not enough story meat is what I'm trying to say.

I am happy with the ending, especially after so much death, destruction and trauma. It is good to see a happy ending for N, Uzi and V. No, I do not agree with others who say that she is a hologram, or that she is dead. I think the glitched out mirror in the videos previously mentioned is a side effect of the Absolute Solver now contained. Maybe it is some kind of PTSD and it is a dark reminder of what could have been if Uzi and the others had failed. But in the end, we get to see Uzi and the others live their lives in some sense of normalcy and peace, which they absolutely deserve. Only caveat to that is the Solver gives bad fashion advice and can be a nuisance.

So, I have this theory/belief about the AS. So, I think the solver is an AI that, for it to user it's powers and control a body, it first need what I call a primary host, it needs a primary host to be able to do anything, but the host first needs to accept it, and the solver tricks them into accepting. Cyn is it's primary host. Once it has a primary host it can control the body and use it's powers, but for the solver to have COMPLETE control over the body, it needs to make the host's mind go insane, because if they are not insane or have not given up, the host can try to control their body sometimes and even maybe strain the abilities so they solver could be beaten. Now i am gonna explain my Cyn theory that connects to this. I believe that Cyn never wanted anything that happened to happen. She accepted the solver's help because she thought they would help her, by getting her out of the pile and helping her find someone. Once she is found by Tessa, or even a bit before, Cyn realizes the solver's true intentions but cannot do anything about it now. She is forced to go along with the solver's plans. And later, as a way of making cyn go even more insane, they use Tessa's skin. I think the most we see Cyn herself in control is during ep 5, and we only see the solver itself sometimes, ex, in the basement, I think that the one deleting N's memories is the solver, as, they act very rude to N, not the usual cyn, because Cyn sees him as a big bro, we never really see Cyn being rude to N. While Cyn is being forced to kill everyone at the gala. During the rest of the season, in ep 1, we see Cyn block the solver from using it's program on him, Cyn may not be fully in control but she can still do a few things. Another thing about Cyn, is during ep 6, we know Tessa is truly the solver or yall call her cyn, at the point where Uzi is controlled by Cyn for a few seconds, notice how she saved N by diverting the Sentinels attention from the solver/Tessa and N and then Cyn stopped. During ep 7, the solver is still playing as tessa, so they send Cyn to either control N or kill him(mineshaft scene) we end up seeing Cyn say how he suprised her and she ends up hugging him. When Tessa is beheaded by N, the solver takes control of Uzi, seeing as they no longer have to control tessa for the moment, controls Uzi, and calls him big brother to trick him. Once Uzi is back, they finally reveal that tessa was dead. During ep 8, seeing how powerful the solver is, they wouldve been absolutely decimated. But the solver wanted to toy with them, During this fight scene i think that while the solver is toying with them, Cyn, seeing this as her last chance, tries to hold the solver's power in a bit, to give them a chance, and the solver doesn't realize this, and then uzi gets a chance to rip out the core. When tesscyn is trying to get the black hole that was the core back, i believe the black hole was Cyn's conciousness/mind/system, and the body is the solver trying to get her back, as she was it's primary host. At the end of the episode, i think the solver wouldve acted different towards uzi, but it doesnt. Because it's cyn, not the solver. I think that cyn still acts similarly as before because of the effects the solver had on Cyn's mind. Heh... this is long, welp! edit: I copied this from my other comment on a Cyn theory video
@aerozierl873627 күн бұрын
i think a big issue of following the murder drones plot was simply how similar the characters looked. Because they were robots its obviously hard to tell them apart, but everybody could tell who uzi was simply by how unique her design was. If we took an actual murder drone and compared it to another, it would be hard to figure out who they were.

Something I think that didn't make sense is how V secretely cares about N. I mean it's not that it doesn't make sense, but her first line towards him in Episode 1 is "Ew, who are you ?", which leads us to think that she doesn't really acknowledge his existence. But later on in the show, now she does know who he is and she stays secretive to protect him because she cares about him ? It's a pretty drastic change considering that Episode 1 made it seem like she couldn't be bothered to even remember that he exists.

The love story felt really forced and more like fan service, especially seeing as they're constantly showing how N liked V and vice versa. Not to mention he's probably older than her.

My main issue was always just trying to figure out how a drone suddenly gets godlike powers. Like creating organic matter out of thin air, telekinesis, multiplying objects, a whole list abilities that defy the laws of physics (and the law of equivalent exchange).
@hollowinside9511Ай бұрын
I kinda just headcanoned that the reason N doesn't seem to have a need for drone oil is because like... typical vampire logic, just take from smaller doses enough to serve the needs without killing - probably omly possible with Solver not active (or when Solver has been "tamed" as part of Uzi) bc Solver might have been making the drones' systems run on overdrive
@Antibellathewolf_5Ай бұрын
I think the reason N and V didn’t have to take worked drones oil is because they weren’t under the absolute solvers control, and ep1 N’s head is shot causing the solver to lose control until he rebooted

I actually have a little theory, in the first episode we see the murder drones strait up spamming lasers and all that, latter we barely see anything like that at all. My idea is that they misinterpreted their programing from "unless you have a fresh source of oil, you will weaken" to "if you dont have a fresh source of oil you will die."

Sure J can try to leave, but where is there to go? Does she even know that many other planets were destroyed? It makes no sense, but that's from our perspective.
