Listening to this, the story is great! I do have a critique regarding the music -- I don't think it should be playing *all* of the time, especially in the horror section. I've listened to a fair number of horror audio readings, ambient music is used occasionally but otherwise they're silent (The Haunter of the Dark reading by Andrew Leman is a perfect example of how to do it right). With regards to the various planes, I think fitting music should have been used for each plane, rather than the same for all. Sets the mood for each scene better. Anyways, looking forward to the next parts!

Her spark happened in the future right when the Nicol Bolas saga was at its pinnacle she foresaw it one day, and just simply decided not to wait. She lost her spark because of the Phyrexian invasion, like many of the rest.

A few thoughts: Of course Aminatou is here. What's modern pop horror without a creepy kid. The narrator has a very pleasant voice. I'm glad Tyvar is the jock in magics version of the dream warriors. I can't wait to find out that the demon in charge of Duskmourne is actually a renegade manifestation of Aminatou's insane power. How's that for a prediction?

It depends on your view. The two main oppositions I see are Niv and Zimone described in this video as those excited for the omenpaths VS Jace and Vraska who see the omenpaths as a threat and an abomination. Niv wants to expand them for personal gain and make Ravnica a hub plane while Jace wants to disconnect the planes and set things the way they used to be.

I think Duskmourn is going to take a more psychological stand when it comes to horror. I would not be surprised to see someone go actually insane by the end of the story.

I’m gonna be real I love the fears creatures, I love the idea behind the set and I love how they’re committing to storytelling again but I’m not a fan of how modern the art looks. It just feels too universes beyond like too much stranger things art was commissioned and had to be repurposed. Internal branding and art is so important for a game and magic is becoming very dissonant with its art. I love this game and I just want it to be true to itself rather bending to any brand the throws enough money at hasbro.
