Hello Alastair your channel popped up. I did share your car and all on my fb group Rs Cosworth powered cars and vans hoping to help find the car. 💯 security tipped them off mate things like that dont just happen like that. As for the police they are crap mate not helping at all like this. Tbf i dont think i would have left my car van and trailer in a carpark anywhere in a city. You would have had better chance in a rural area it would have been safer. But whats happened cant be changed. Fingers crossed something comes up but i wouldn't hold your breath as its probably stripped. Look for parts for the car in cristal blue. I will keep a look out on my group and my mates the sierra cosworth fan page. Good luck with it and the new project.

I hope your luck turns mate , I had my 2 door mk2 escort with just 36k miles on from new stolen , we had only been in the new flat 2 weeks and I had owned it 4 years, had a toad alarm with tilt sensors and it still got taken ! never ever will I forget that car and every baby blue car I see I study the pictures just in case lol 💯 % agree with you on a tracker that’s a must nowadays I have subscribed and hope you find a cozzy look forward to the build

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, every thief of light fingered individual who steal other people’s possessions should get amputated limbs to help them stop this crime.. seems a bit strange that your van/trailer and car were stolen within 90 mins of you turning up at that hotel, I think maybe the police should investigate the staff members past and present at that hotel, just incase it’s one of the staff that’s involved with these repeating car thief’s . Just seems a bit strange

Is your car the one in your video? E174 JJN ? If so it had an MOT on 07 June thus year and passed. How would it have passed if it had No engine and gearbox? What am i missing? Thanks

I can guarantee if you had commited a crime and taken off and they had a last location spotted they could trace via cctv cameras on the motorway. If the police want to trace and catch you they will and have the means to do so. Gutted for you.

To me mate I’d be seriously looking at the previous owner doing some series background checks. It’s just to much of a coincidence that it was stolen so quickly. Do a car vertical check on car to see if it’s been reported stolen recently before you reported it. Scumbags out there make thousands doing this it’s probably why they sell it without engine so it can be easily followed. Good luck on getting it back mate

Gutted. I had my ultimate green MK2 focus rs stolen from outside my house a few years ago, the police literally couldn't have cared less. Never came to interview me or check neighbours CCTV, just gave me a crime number for the insurance and never heard from them again 😡😡😔👍👍

Gutted for you mate, it’s a sickening feeling when something awful like that happens. Us boys love & cherish our cars that have created priceless memories over the course of our lives. Hopefully there can be a good outcome for you in the end. It’s a small world & people talk so it might turn up somewhere. The thieves are total scumbags & shame on them for what they did to you. Steering locks don’t do anything I’ve got cctv of thief’s driving mine and my dads focus st off with steering locks still on we had the full disklok no cheap rubbish 🤦🏻‍♂️so the moral of the story don’t follow the police advice 🤣

Not only did it the whole thing end in disaster but it started off a disaster writing the van off in a head on when ye were headed for the boat. That was a sign that this Sierra just wasn't meant to be it had a bad aura. The carpark was busy that night so obviously someone who was there spotted what you had and got on the phone to whoever it was that took it.
