My 2022 Rockwood had auto level issues my dealership just couldn't get fixed. Rockwood had me bring the trailer to the factory and they were absolutely awesome. Not only did they fix the auto level, but they replaced the entire underbelly the dealership cut up, and fixed a couple things that were my fault as well as fixing things I didn't even know were a problem. Their customer service is top notch.

@@johnbezold926 After over 9 months of working with my dealership (Campers Inn) and the auto leveling system failing again a week after they fixed it a dozen times, I started an email chain with Rockwood's customer service, Campers Inn corporate, and Lippert. After still going in circles with the dealership and Campers Inn corporate ignoring it, I offered to come to the factory and they scheduled the service. In one day they solved what the dealership failed to do for 14 months!

What an awesome video Hunter, absolutely loved it. We have owned 4 Rockstaffs since the nineties and can say we have had little to no issues between them all. All the reasons you explained and many more is why we love Rockstaff. One thing is I wish Rockstaff would do more of is being more transparent and what I mean is make videos showing all aspects of the company get that info we just saw in this video out to everyone. One of the other brands did videos showing why they chose a particular hitch for their toy hauler and all the testing that went on to show how and why they chose that one. Love to see all the testing that went on to come to their conclusion to go with Slipper suspension over the torsion which we have loved on all our TT’s over the years. One of main reasons we love their trailers is the all aluminum everything. Even our Murphy bed is all aluminum framed!!!

@@michaeldeleon8433 I totally agree, and honestly I have been struggling to find a simple way to describe that suspension system without overcomplicating things! Any ideas would be welcome. But we may have some things up our sleeves soon that will make bigger FWs a possiblity. Stay tuned!

@ZachRiningerRV29 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching! We use plywood floor that has a laminated resin exterior making it both water and weather proof without having to wrap it in the cheap black fiber sheet everyone else uses and often tears apart. We also add a layer of radiant barrier insulation to the inside under the slide room flooring which helps tremendously with the climate control. Hope this helps answer your question!

What makes Rockwood not just another forest river clone? I'm genuinely curious.... Everything this guy is saying about Rockwood reputation, is everything the real new disruptors are known for. Hey guys, customer feedback here, loyal customer at that (third Flagstaff, one Rockwood)...you're going in the wrong direction! Kudos on the quality but here's where you're going wrong: you eliminated the beautiful crown moulding and replaced it with what looks like baseboard, the wheels on this one you're showing look like something you'd see on a cheap junky trailer like a Wolf Pup, and you dropped the torsion axles in favor of leaf spring suspension? I'm glad I ordered and got my 2021 529RBS when I did because I don't know if I could get past the negative changes you have made...and for your 50th year too. Very very disappointed. Hopefully my '21 will be the last camper I buy, I don't like the direction of the entire industry including what you guys are doing.
@ZachRiningerRV29 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for being such a loyal owner and especially for your feedback. Torsion axles are great, but after all the testing we did we found this was absolutely a better suspension system for the size and weight that our FWs have grown to. Happy to have a conversation any time, if helpful. And most importantly, thank you so much!
@NYVET48TFW27 күн бұрын
@ZachRiningerRV anytime my friend. My comment was directed at Flagstaff/Rockwood though. As for the torsion axles, I'd have to disagree from experience, especially since even their biggest and heaviest 5th wheels (of which mine is one) only weigh in at a little over 10K with a gross of around 12K or so, that's pretty light for a 36.5' trailer, and the Torflex axles, on every Flagstaff and Rockwood I've owned including current one, have been perfect. There's just not enough weight for leafspring suspension, it's too rigid for the weight and everything ends up thrown all over (again from experience with also owning other campers and many other people). I wish we could post pictures on KZbin, but I'm sure you know...the wheels used on previous model years look really nice, whereas the ones on the one in your video look like a cost-cutting offering, not at all fitting with the overall once stunning appearance. It's just a shame they felt the need to cut corners and try to sell it as 'improvements.' I would really like to know why they hacked off the crown moulding in favor of flat, basic cheap looking trim, I've seen baseboards that have more depth and style. I hope their quality hasn't suffered, but their styling and appearance sure has.
