Thank you for this episode. I was not aware of steam dying: very interesting. I love the Exact Opposite cowl, especially with a slow changing color yarn. ❤❤❤

@@mongrain8934 thanks! We use steaming when we hand paint the yarn or fiber. When we are doing a tonal color, we usually use an immersion method in a stockpot. The cowl was fun to knit!

I love Linda's knit bag and Michelle's exact opposite cowl! I started thinking about the microwave and whether it's truly off-brand, because in reality it uses far less energy than a regular streamer. So in that sense, it would be a more sustainable practice. Just a thought.
