I have SOOOOOOOO many questions with this. Who were the fated ones in the second tournament? did they have different cards? if so, were the current 6 destroyed in the Void sphere Blangd created? is this something Gabwellius does every few years? Why? theres too many questions and not enough answers.

How they think and why they think What they do.) reality, (someone wanting to change reality to whatever they dream. Utopia for himself? Or for all?) soul (someone wanting to manipulate the dead AND the living) and power. (Someone wanting to have full athority over everyone so no one will ever control him again)

To be fair, there's the possibility that he'd assume either that it was a test by Gabwelius to ensure Akina wouldn't opt out like Taizo did or that it was "present" Hikari talking to him (especially bad when said version was supposed to be resting). Even if that weren't the case and Akina did actually believe her, he'd be either too stubborn or resolute to take her words to heart as he immediately proves in this episode. Also I'm pretty sure the real reason to hide her face was either so that she didn't too many problems from accidentally being seen by her younger self or because she wished to quietly disappear (possibly literally) once she knew her big brother was safe.
