I'm a follower of Jesus. I live to hear your teachings. In Mark 7 is says: 17 Then Jesus went into a house to get away from the crowd, and his disciples asked him what he meant by the parable he had just used. 18 “Don’t you understand either?” he asked. “Can’t you see that the food you put into your body cannot defile you? 19 Food doesn’t go into your heart, but only passes through the stomach and then goes into the sewer.” (By saying this, he declared that every kind of food is acceptable in God’s eyes.) So as a Jew you are trying to tell me what Jesus said doesn't matter? 20 And then he added, “It is what comes from inside that defiles you. 21 For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. 23 All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.

All food IS clean... But NOT all things are food... So you're telling me that as a "Gentile" your mistaken perception of unclean foods have suddenly become holy and acceptable... Well, let's try out your little theory... Let's take some "unclean animals" that you claim to be food... Let's cook up a Barracuda and a Blowfish... By Biblical Standards, these are unclean animals... GOD TOLD YOU NOT TO EAT THEM... But you do anyway... A few moments after eating them... While you are are experiencing projectile vomiting and explosive diarrhea... Possibly you can contemplate how the FOODS GOD created don't defile you? Start praying to GOD for forgiveness for disobeying His FOREVER Laws and possibly these unclean animals that YOU have declared to be food won't kill you! IF Yeshua declared unclean animals no longer unclean... Please explain: GOD's Judgement Day: Isaiah 66:17 - 17“Those who consecrate and purify themselves to enter the groves- to follow one in the center of THOSE WHO EAT THE FLESH OF SWINE and vermin and rats- WILL PERISH TOGETHER,” declares the LORD. THOUSANDS of years "After the Cross": Revelation 18:2 - 2And he cried out in a mighty voice: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a lair for demons and a haunt for every unclean spirit, every UNCLEAN BIRD, and every detestable beast. (Mercy, what is an UNCLEAN BIRD doing here?) Philippians 3:19 - Their end is destruction, THEIR GOD IS THEIR BELLY, and their glory is in their shame. Their minds are set on earthly things. If you think ANY of GOD's Laws don't apply to Believers in Yeshua the Messiah, possibly refer to the WORD FROM HIS OWN MOUTH in Matthew 5:17 through 20?

Are you really hated because you’re following Christ or are you just following what Monte Judah says without actually doing any research on scripture and things and testing what he’s he says? there’s a big difference here, if you don’t believe that Jesus declared all foods to be clean, check out that verse with the codex siniticus, the oldest complete bible featuring the New Testament, if Monte Judah and all those in the Hebrew roots movement actually read it, I think they would be in for a nasty shock…

I understand some of what you are going through. When I was a Christian (yes, I say this due to my not knowing or understanding what the holy scriptures of the Bible said for me to do and not do, because I had been taught incorrectly), I never fully understood certain things in 'the faith'. But I knew, there was many things I had questions about in which nobody could explain, because they too had been taught wrong. In order to trust in The Lord, and for Him to hear our prayers, we have to do what He says. Now, I know in the US, there are things which are not right, such as in politics, those who make the laws, corrupt people and a vast variety of other things which happen. When we are citizens and have a person who is supposed to be a leader, but is corrupt and does things to harm us, and who may profess to be something they are not, judgment comes upon us all. But by us who want to change and do what The Lord commands, it will get better. It may not change right now, or a year from now, as we in the Western world (the USA, Canada and Mexico) don't want to wait and do what God says, as we 'want it right now'. This is what we have come accustomed to, and it's hard to change some things. I know it's hard for you, with what you go through every day. I too go through some of these things as well, with a left leg amputated, my knee won't lock straight so I can't wear a prosthetic leg, for not being able to put weight on it to walk correctly, so I have to use a leg crutch to slowly get around, and I live alone. I still have to do chores by myself. I drive myself to the store and refuse to ride around in the electric shopping carts, and I sometimes struggle to climb into my truck. If I go somewhere, have to strap the crutch on then remove it when I get back in the vehicle. I am 6'6" tall. It hurts to walk, even more on uneven ground. I feel for you, sister. But I know soon, things are going to get a lot worse in this country and we all will need to get ready for it. Whatever happens, will happen. The only thing I need to do is to trust in The Lord, keep His commandments and not waver. Do what we can to survive and endure to the end. We believe we know what our reward will be, but I kinda think, we really have no idea what it will be, as The Lord loves us beyond our wildest dreams ! Life will get much worse in the world, but we who put our trust in The Lord will endure till the end. We are now in a preparation place, for our new home to come in the Kingdom, to be with Yeshua ! HalleluYah (Praise be to Yah), as Yah is our Father in heaven. Shabbat Shalom (May your day of rest be Peaceful)

BUT, then I remember the Words of Psalm 91 & encourage myself in the Lord, that He protects/hides me & has me & recently when I had a physical worry, I heard the scripture Philipians 4:6-7 come up into my concious thought, to encourage me not to be anxious about anything, but to pray to Him, in humility & thanksgiving, making my requests & needs known to Him & He has given me peace regarding all of these. This is exactly what He has done 2 wks along, & I am not worried or fearful about that situation, or any other, because He has it & exchanged it with Yeshua our Prince of Peace & He has already dealt with everything on the cross! I was explaining the same things about unclean to a new friend yesterday. She said she understood about unclean, BUT she wouldn't give up her bacon ! She said she just couldn't do it ! I told her, when I was a Christian, I ate lots of bacon, crab, shrimp and oysters, ( never cared for catfish), and have eaten barbequed coon (raccoon for those who may not be from the Southern part of the US), and have tried possum a couple of times. But when I learned what The Lord had commanded us to do, I had no problem at all giving up eating what He says is unclean and told her she could do it too. She disagreed with me. Not willing to do what God says is ignorance to me. If you say you love Me and don't keep My commandments, you are a liar and the truth is not in you.

Do you really believe what MJ is saying, that someone put that verse In because they thought it meant that and then he jumps to wilful deception, the big problem with what MJ is saying is the fact this scribe or wilful deceiver made thousands of nice copy’s of manuscripts, snuck into all the churches and monasteries adding these forged manuscripts and doing all that before the era of powered travel and not getting caught once, that just does not make any sense. I’m not going to beat up anyone here but I’d suggest search that scripture and it’s context and don’t let someone like MJ try and manipulate you into believing what he wants you to believe and act while threatening that God is going to take away your salvation.

Just a suggestion if your going to do zealously follow that Old Testament law you then probably should follow all 613 laws and break them once. Guess what Jesus fulfilled the law. We are saved by believing in Jesus as our lord and saviour, not by what we eat.
@Robert-vh2cl2 ай бұрын
But what was the primary reason that God established a law of clean and unclean meats? He needed the Jewish people to be a tightly knit community and marrying those that ate unclean meats would have been unacceptable to them. And why was this so important? Because Christ needed to be born within this community. So when Christ says he came to fulfill the law, we can now understand why all manner of meats can now be consumed. But for the Jewish community that did not yet see that Christ was the messiah, keeping the law of clean and unclean meats continued to serve the same purpose leading to fulfilling end time prophecies. The laws your parents gave you when you were two years old are not the same rules you received when you became a teenager or when you turned 18. When you were two, many rules were physical in nature, but when you became an adult you gained a greater capacity for understanding the reasons for those laws and why they no longer apply. This is my understanding according to scripture.

Best teaching on truth, per scriptures, to clear the misinterpretations in Christianity, which is the cousin to catholicism. Plenty in common, like Holidays, Sundays, foods, etc. They are blind to it and I have proven it. Just finished a cover to cover, a 9 month seminary Bible study, thinking it would give me greater understanding of God and His messages, and it did! Right back to where I started 15 years ago to the Messianic faith! The more I read, the more apparent I saw it was a culture and misunderstood interpretation. The truth sets you free. I love my Sabbaths, feasts and more Kosher everyday. I despised those unclean foods even before reading about it. Thank you Monty! Your teachings are so right on. So glad I had the change to compare from the seminary. I am now free! I love your passion for truth. No apologies needed. Blessings to all. Your teachings are true Messiah. Maybe consider this as well: “If you enter a town and it welcomes you, EAT WHATEVER IS SET BEFORE YOU.” -Jesus (Luke 10:8) “If an unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, EAT WHATEVER IS PUT BEFORE YOU without raising questions of conscience.” -Paul (1 Cor 10:27) “They…order them (us) to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. For EVERYTHING God created is good, and NOTHING is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer. If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, a you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus…” -Paul (1 Tim 4:3-6) “Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. ALL FOOD IS CLEAN, but it is wrong for a man to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble.” -Paul (Rom 14:20) So eat clean, or don’t drink alcohol, when with those who would be offended by “unclean” food or drink; we don’t want to cause them to stumble. “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” (Rom 14:17) I’m just really glad the Samaritan wasn’t like his Jewish neighbors-so afraid of becoming unclean from touching drool, puss, or blood, that they refused to help a neighbor in need. Jesus said NOT to be afraid of becoming PHYSICALLY unclean; instead, He warned about SIN that makes us SPIRITUALLY unclean. If Jesus’ followers were so afraid of becoming unclean, they would have left him on the cross. They didn’t. Do you think they skipped Passover because of it? The very meal that pictured their Teacher…the very Teacher who became unclean for us, so that we could become spiritual clean. Jesus cleared up the heart of the law, and set the example. He broke His own laws of clean and unclean by becoming sin for us, so that we could be saved (spiritually clean). We cannot be afraid of becoming physically “unclean” at the expense of another person’s soul. If reaching a gentile soul for Jesus means not offending them by eating whatever they set in front of us, we eat it-no questions asked. But if we want to reach a Jew’s soul for Jesus, then we also don’t want to offend him by eating what to him is unclean. “Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food...” (Rom 14:20) Eat kosher if you’d like…but that is not the true heart of the matter. “Then Jesus called to the crowd to come and hear. ‘All of you listen,’ he said, ‘and try to understand. It’s NOT what goes into your body that makes you unclean; you are defiled by what comes from your heart…THE FOOD YOU PUT INTO YOUR BODY CANNOT MAKE YOU UNCLEAN. Food doesn’t go into your heart, but only passes through the stomach and then goes into the sewer…It is what comes from inside that defiles you. For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.’ “ (make you unclean) -Jesus/Lord God (Mark 7:14-23)

Shalom, Rabbi. My daughter-in-law (L) & her mother (S) visited from out of town yesterday. We had a conversation about 'religion' when S insisted Jesus did away with the Old Testament. She said it's taught in every church she has attended. It saddens my heart that so many have become 'religious' & made Elohim over in man's image, and teach it to their children. How do we re-teach in Truth?
@herbertprince2192 Жыл бұрын
I know how frustrating it is as well. Not everyone who you share the 'truth' with will listen. We aren't commanded to beat it into their head, but only to share with them. You may want to share these teachings with your friend who visited you. This way, she may have a change of heart and be interested in knowing more. When I first began un-learning what I had been taught all my life, it was at first hard for me, but the more I learned, it started making more sense. Keep your friend in your prayers and believe she will get it. Often, it doesn't happen overnight. The more you share with your friends, the more they will realize how sincere you are about how you believe. It sometimes takes time, while others will pick it up right away. I myself was searching for truth. I knew there had to be more than what I had been taught. Being The Lord chose me a long time ago, when I accepted Yeshua in a small Primitive Baptist church around the age of 8 to 10 years of age, I had no idea what has now taken place in my life would have happened. Some heads seem to be harder than others, in other words, sometimes it takes longer for some people. So, don't give up, love your friend and when The Lord blesses you to share with her, trust in Him and maybe, hopefully, He will convict her to want to know more. I pray this will help you to have hope for your friend. And thank you for sharing this, I appreciate you, sister. Shabbat Shalom.

Yes, it is very sad... I'm not sure if my family is from Israel, but I'll tell you one thing, "They are a stiff necked people!" At first it's really frustrating... For me after learning the truth, I would actually get pretty angry with people for saying what I realized to be nonsense... It is still hard for me sometimes, but i was also shown that these things were revealed to me, not something i discovered on my own... I still get frustrated, but i have gradually become more patient and kind when talking to people... When one shares what Yeshua the Messiah CLEARLY said and all that's heard is someone argue back... "But, Paul said"... i have to take a deep breath and explain what Paul actually said... This is usually then replied with, "that's not what he meant"... You're a legalist, you're a Judaizer and you're trying to be saved by the law... You're "trying to be Jewish" and you're headed to hell! Because GOD would totally condemn you for obeying the Laws that HE said would bless you? SMH...

Ezekiel 44:23,24 (BSB) They are to teach My people the difference between the holy and the common and show them how to discern between the clean and the unclean. In any dispute, they shall officiate as judges and judge according to My ordinances. They must keep My laws and statutes regarding all My appointed feasts, and they must keep My Sabbaths holy. One Standard, One Truth, One Way: THE LORD'S WAY. Reverence the LORD; obey His Torah (Truth); keep His Appointed Festivals ("Holidays"); walk in His Righteousness; administer His Justice and Mercy. Ezekiel 33:11 (AMP) Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back (change your way of thinking), turn back [in repentance] from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’ Romans 12:2 (AMP) And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. Acts 3:19 (AMP) So repent [change your inner self-your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God-seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day]; Philippians 2:12,13 (AMP) So then, my dear ones, just as you have always obeyed [my instructions with enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ]. For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure. Amen 🙏

Following God's commands may seem like we have to give something up (like pork), but when you follow God's commands you will actually receive far greater blessings. The commandments are not rules but guidelines for our lives that will bless us and lead us to greater relationship and connection to Him (and will also make us happier in this life and the one to come!).

All to the Glory of God 23 All things are lawful [g]for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things [h]edify. 24 Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being. 25 Eat whatever is sold in the meat market, asking no questions for conscience’ sake; 26 for “the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.” 27 If any of those who do not believe invites you to dinner, and you desire to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no question for conscience’ sake. 28 But if anyone says to you, “This was offered to idols,” do not eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for conscience’ sake; [i]for “the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.” 29 “Conscience,” I say, not your own, but that of the other. For why is my liberty judged by another man’s conscience? 30 But if I partake with thanks, why am I evil spoken of for the food over which I give thanks? 31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give no offense, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God, 33 just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

As an Israelite who has studied textual criticism, I can say that Monte is so badly mistaken in his claim that some Gentile, who allegedly wanted his bacon and his lobster, went around altering thousands of manuscripts spread out all across the world, in spite of someone having to break into museums, homes, monastaries, etc., to have altered so many of the 6000+ texts of the Textus Receptus manuscripts...folks, if you believe this guy without checking out what he's teaching, and thus exercising proper responsibility for what you choose to believe, then you place yourself into the same line of error as he is in. Also, the Vaticanus is ALSO known to have been altered at least five different times in a number of places throughout! This is why so much trust has been placed upon the Textus Receptus. Monte cannot point at any one council or movement that would have orchestrated such a blatant addition to the text that only serves to legitimize Yashuah's meaning that is clear without that statement, but is only strengthened WITH that text that Mark is known to have actually written! Please, please keep your critical thinking cap on when listening this this guy's teachings! He is absolutely wrong, and is actually intellectually dishonest to think of himself as qualified if it's discovered that ha made all that stuff up without checking it, or accepted it as true from someone else, and STILL not checking it out for himself before teaching it! He obviously has forgotten that those who teach will be judged DOUBLY!

Not Legalism but Christ 11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body [h]of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the [i]handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. 16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a [j]festival or a new moon or sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the [k]substance is of Christ. 18 Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has [l]not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God. 20 [m]Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations- 21 “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,” 22 which all concern things which perish with the using-according to the commandments and doctrines of men? 23 These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and [n]neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.

Anyway the spirit revealed to me the return of Jesus and the set up of the kingdom. In chapter 44:23 it speaks of the priests teaching these laws. Am I wrong to assume that there will be those who have never before been taught them? Or is it they were never taught correctly?

I have been blessed and convicted by so many things you have shared. I would be interested to know how you reconcile Mark 16:16 through 18 about laying hands on the sick and raising the dead. It is true that Jesus called forth to Lazarus, but he touched those who were dead and they came back to life. When we have the Holy Spirit, we are instructed to heal the sick and raise the dead. We are not to be afraid of the lepers, but rather to overcome. How do you reconcile these two? Thanks

What are you trying to reconcile? Touching something that is unclean? For people: Being unclean only requires what can be referred to as a "wash and a wait"... Wash yourself, you clothes and wait until night... Healing someone who is sick or comforting someone who has touched a dead body at a funeral outweighs your need to "stay clean"... Based on what the Messiah told the Pharisees (Mark 3:4), it is logical that He would approve of you making yourself "unclean" for acts of kindness such as this... Yeshua the Messiah is NOTHING BUT Holiness... Whatever He touches becomes holy and clean, at least until it is defiled again in some way... Once the Blood of the Lamb has cleansed us, we are to try our best not to become defiled by the things of the world again... Hebrews 10:29 - How much more severely do you think one deserves to be punished who has trampled on the Son of God, profaned the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and insulted the Spirit of grace? Did this help at all? Does it make sense to you?

Well... For those interested, I actually was given the answer a few days ago... What was exposed here is something commonly referred to as a "translation mistake"... Deuteronomy 14:21 - You are not to eat any carcass; you may give it to the foreigner residing within your gates, and HE MAY EAT IT, or you may sell it to a foreigner. The Word translated in Deuteronomy 14:21 as "foreigner" is written in a Torah Scroll as נָכְרִי or nokri... It does not mean the same thing as the word for "foreigner" as found in Exodus 12:49 - THE SAME LAW SHALL APPLY TO BOTH THE NATIVE AND THE FOREIGNER WHO RESIDES AMONG YOU.” The word used here for "foreigner" is גֵּר or ger... The Words nokri's and ger's are not the same thing... nokri: derived from neker meaning an adulteress or adulterous woman. ger: a sojourner, alien, foreigner An adulterous woman would have most likely been stoned or cast out of the camp... Giving her this meat would have been an act of mercy for it is likely that this adulterous woman would have starved otherwise... There is MUCH in the Scriptures that tell you that you not to follow the laws like a robot checking off the boxes, but from the heart... (Matthew 12:3 through 11 and Luke 14:5) Thanks brethren for your input and help... Blessings and Shalom...

Thank you for making this distinction. I believe it. I personally did not find the parenthesis reference in Mark 7 that you mentioned in my English Bibles, but on the grounds you specify that Acts 15 makes explicit reference to two commands as found identical to the Kosher system, means they were being directly drawn and therefore hold authority as a Mosaic practice that *does* stick to Gentile Believers by the Holy Spirit's demand. - I think part of my previous understanding's flaw is literally the Genesis 9 reference, in its totality, as it pertains to food laws is that previous to the Mosaic Covenant where Israel alone was blessed to have and also permitted to keep those dietary restrictions.. Genesis 9 references the sons of Noah being told to spread out and eat what they find.... and that's one way I had always seen it before... ...but if a thing is still "in cycle" with or without an official Covenant to hold it bindingly, (although Genesis 9 is the FIRST time meat is commanded/permitted), then I would have also had to have said that before food laws for the Nation of Israel, all surrounding peoples who landed wherever they did as descendants of the three brothers, might have held to lawful actions regardless as they held God's G9 command according to previous acts of meat eating practice.. ...but again, Genesis 9 is where meat eating starts, so that is stretching the truth. I just mean that other nations were not blessed with the Law or its demands, so what bound them? Nothing. Israel was given for its own Covenant, else everyone else would have done the same and the "special" nature of Torah would have been common being so widespread, which is opposite to fact. In saying that, I don't believe other nations were being weird or rebellions-- they had no law to rebel from to begin with it. It starts with Jacob (Israel) and doesn't become "set in stone" until Jabal Al Lawz (Sinai) in Arabia, at Mt Sinai.... everyone else was outsider to the Covenant, therefore to (them) it was as normal, even if God wasn't on board with it, and who can say they knew? Maybe *some* Native Americans did.... maybe the earliest Chinese did, as they worshipped Jehovah by another name before strange philosophies overcame them, they called Jehovah "Shang Di".

It would be easier if there were assemblies who could introduce people to it ( while aslo reminding that it's not a salavation issue) But rightnow for me this look like a lot of works, you have to know how everything you eat was made, if you drink something, or eat butter or a cream you have to know if any animal was used to make it, and if yes how was the animal killed, there seems to have so many opportunities to go wrong even by accident.

Maybe consider this: “If you enter a town and it welcomes you, EAT WHATEVER IS SET BEFORE YOU.” -Jesus (Luke 10:8) “If an unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, EAT WHATEVER IS PUT BEFORE YOU without raising questions of conscience.” -Paul (1 Cor 10:27) “They…order them (us) to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.

In the beginning, long before the Flood, there was a matter of Cain and Abel. Both offered their sacrifices, Cain's was rejected because it was a grain offering, but Abel's was a lamb sacrifice. And Abel's was accepted because God told them what was the acceptable sacrifice. Now then, after Abel sacrifice the lamb on the altar, was the sacrifice burned of its fat, and the meat thrown away, or did Abel eat of the sacrificed lamb? The idea of meat-eathing needs to be discussed about what to do with the sacrifice of animals and what they did to the carcasses. Rabbi Judah needs to explain.

Where does it say that Cain’s offering was rejected because it was grain?
@JmesFloyd762 ай бұрын
@@Robert-vh2cl As I had explained before, God told both of them what was the acceptable sacrifice. Abel's was a blood sacrifice, involving killing the lamb. Cain's was a blood-less sacrifice, no life was taken, just some 'ordinary bunch of grain'. Genesis 4:3. There was a heart issue behind the offering. "Every man does what is right in his own eyes" [Deuteronomy 12:8, Judges 21:25b] which was Cain's way toward God, but Abel listened and did what is right in God's own eyes.
@Robert-vh2cl2 ай бұрын
@@JmesFloyd76 Where does it say what the acceptable offering was supposed to be? It doesn’t make sense for Cain to sacrifice one of Abel’s lambs. The Bible is not clear as to what was wrong.

James was the head of the Assemblies and Paul answered to him... There are so many writings from Paul because of a man named Marcion... Do a little walking through REAL Bible History... Paul tells us who he is... 1 Corinthians 15:9 and 10 - 9For I am THE LEAST OF THE APOSTLES and am UNWORTHY TO BE CALLED AN APOSTLE, because I persecuted the church of God. 10But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not in vain. No, I worked harder than all of them-yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. (Least of the Apostles, but "chief rabbi of the New Testament")🙄 Acts 22:3 - “I AM A JEW, BORN IN TARSUS OF CILICIA, but raised in this city. I WAS EDUCATED AT THE FEET OF GAMALIEL IN STRICT CONFORMITY TO THE LAW OF OUR FATHERS. I am just as zealous for God as any of you here today. (FOOD Laws were part of "THE LAW OF OUR FATHERS and Paul held STRICT CONFORMITY to them)👈 Philippians 3:3 through 6 - 3For it is we who are the circumcision, we who worship by the Spirit of God, who glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh- 4though I myself could have such confidence. If anyone else thinks he has grounds for confidence in the flesh, I have more: 5CIRCUMCISED ON THE EIGHTH DAY, OF THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL, OF THE TRIBE OF BENJAMIN; A HEBREW OF HEBREWS; AS TO THE LAW, A PHARISEE; (Pharisees taught the food laws)👈 Acts 24:14 - I do confess to you, however, that I WORSHIP THE GOD OF OUR FATHERS ACCORDING TO THE WAY, which they call a sect. I BELIEVE EVERYTHING THAT IS LAID DOWN BY THE LAW AND WRITTEN IN THE PROPHETS, (So, Paul BELIEVE EVERYTHING THAT IS LAID DOWN BY THE LAW AND WRITTEN IN THE PROPHETS, except for the food laws)🙄 I will give you to chose... a. Paul was a schizophrenic... b. Paul was a false Apostle... c. There is a translation error here d. Yet another corruption of the original text by "the Church" I will refer you to what the Messiah Yeshua told us from HIS own mouth... As stated in Matthew 5:17 through 20 - 17DO NOT THINK I HAVE COME TO ABOLISH THE LAW OR THE PROPHETS. (The Messiah most people claim to obey and worship told us HE didn't do what some say He did... He's told us once...ONCE. In fact, Yeshua told us not to even think such a thing. But yet people still do?) Continuing... I have not come to abolish them, BUT to fulfill them. (Yeshua told us again that He did not come to ABOLISH them but fulfill them. (This makes TWICE Yeshua said He didn't abolish the Law or the Prophets). You will note the word "BUT" which is an opposing conjunction. That means that the word or phase before the word "BUT" will be in opposition the word or phrase after it. Also, look in a dictionary or Concordance. If Yeshua "fulfilled" the Laws so we don't have to, then this is annulling the law. The same definition of "abolish". Yeshua told us TWICE, that He didn't do what some people claim He did... TWICE. Furthermore, refer to Matthew 5:20 through 48 if anyone is in doubt of what "fulfilling" means.) 18For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. (Yeshua told us that not even the SMALLEST to the GREATEST part of the Law was done away with. This is the THIRD time He tells us this.They won't disappear until heaven and earth has passed away. Have you seen the earth today? Have you seen the heavens? Then the law is STILL valid and has NOT passed away.) 19So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.… (this was Yeshua's warning to us not to do what many are doing)...

@@bawbjusbawb6471 First of all, you have to get your context straight. Jesus made his statements about the Law under a Theocracy. He came SPECIFICALLY to the Jews, as He Himself stated: Mat 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: Mat 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. The Gentiles would later be the object of His Gospel:Joh_10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. These Paul would be the chief minister to as he himself said:Act_18:6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles. Paul received his revelation directly from Jesus. so when he talks it is by the authority of Jesus: Gal 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. So yes, Paul is the chief rabbi of the New Testament. Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. When Jesus said he came to fulfill the Law, he did just that. He did it perfectly and was sinless, the perfect sacrifice, which the Law of Moses pointed to. Paul makes it clear how the Gentiles are related to the Law of Moses, and Gentiles are not under the Theocray of Israel as the Jews are: Acts 15, Rom 14:5,6, Col 2:15-17, the entire book of Galatians. They are summed up as follows: Act 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: The New Testament has 1050 commands, so these videos stating that Gentile believers are lawless is refuted.
