I believe the film was xXx: State of the Union (yes, really). The additions for Brawl aren’t super duper extensive, and the xXx “Stealth Tank” itself is based off the M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank.

My first ever transformers figures was both 2007 deluxe brawl and bonecrusher. Did good in school and parents let me pick out 2 toys in toys r us. Arguably got the 2 best figures in the whole line lol

They made a huge mistake with both Brawl and Starscream in not simply scaling up the original movie figure (Brawl) or ROTF voyager (scream) as both of those were nearly perfect and just needed a few tweaks

Well Starscream was just an upscale of the DOTM Deluxe and I think that worked out really well.

The tank prop for Brawl was from the movie xXx: State of the Union. It wasn’t even an actual tank. It was basically just a truck chassis with a whole bunch of panels and stuff built onto it to make it look like a “stealth tank “. Also love Brawl. Definitely my favorite Decepticon from the 2007 movie.

I still have this one today, but I lost the shoulder turrets and these chest sweepers, I wanted to find these loose pieces for sale, I remember I was unsure whether to get the Brawl or the Barricade but i chose brawl, I think this figure is really cool, but I remember I was disappointed because every time I went to play the fittings on the arms came loose and the back fell down, so I held it up with elastic.

I dont think I ever been this early to a video! Ngl, I think SS Brawl is really scuffed. Especially with the arms. I'd love to see a redo of it. It could just be a heavy retool/new figure with retool budget like SS ROTB Prime was. As for 2007 Brawl. It was one of my first figures and I still think its dope but I wish he only got a Voyager back then and they gave the Leader figure to Blackout.

Deluxe Brawl definitely is one I'd like to find it definitely looks like it could fit with any with the Cartoon based figures ad he does the films due to his sculpt

Not gonna lie, i've always preferred the deluxe. The transformation is super clever and featues no real partsforming for the accessories. Innacurate? Yeah, but come onnn, its a lot more playable and fun Also idk why the size just works for me. Ive had the G1 ever since forever and brawl is just a dumpy lad in my head lol

They actually made it so that you can remove the long barrel part of the deluxe’s canon (at the portion where there’s 2 little holes on each side) so that he has a more accurate gun in robot mode. (Just make sure to remove the missile first of course)

So I looked up a screen shot. The pokey things do angle down but also out a bit at the same time. So kinda inward down 45° the out 45° If you want it like perfectly accurate to the movie

I have the ss Brawl and I just got the deluxe Brawl (minus missile) the two are different enough that I can enjoy both for what they offer. This might be new toy feeling but I find the deluxe figure to be a more fun toy but the voyager still got his points too

Fun fact, 2007 Deluxe Class Brawl has an automorph in the torso, but it has clear Transparent plastic that is prone to breaking! But this was corrected with the deep Desert Brawl when they stopped using the clear plastic. Also I can't wait for an Old Vs. New on Studio series Long Haul & the original Voyager class Long Haul.

I had the desert brawl repaint but he's degraded at the hips. I gave it away, it's in someone's else's scrap pile now. I still prefer the old one, it's something you know you don't have the ammo to scratch and the built in guns make it a walking armory. The new one's spaghetti shoulder arms ruin it for me

Despite voyager class being the perfect scale for him, some QC issues and the annoying cannon barrel in the back was a turn down Imagine if Brawl was revisited nowadays and updated into a small leader class? (Deluxe price & transformation, voyager size)

honestly i think it depends. Transformations can be annoying Car modes can seem boring esp when Hasbro doesn't put all the detail into paint apps Robot modes are more interesting at times, I think w/ time I start liking figures moreso as actionfigures and less so as "puzzles" or smth to swap from one mode to the next. i like posability, weaponry/accessories and diaramas/comparisons
