Thank you! It was fun and easy. Getting the tie around string tight was the only tricky thing I found. You have a very pleasant speaking voice and taught in a way that was easy to understand and your visual was very good. Thank you very much

I learned to make one in knitting class, using one circle. This method is much easier and makes a better pom pom. Loved it! Great video.

Hi, I’m a beginner and this is my first time doing a pom-pom and you did a great job at showing how to do it by hand. Great job teaching and having patience and showing how to make a perfect pom-pom. Thank you

Great video. I have one suggestion. Take the piece of yarn you are tying it with at the end and put it between your fingers before you start wrapping. Between your ring and middle finger. That way you have it there when pulling it off and make it just a smidge easier. That's how I do it. ;)

I would double tie it and make it super tight. My mom used to put a bit of glue in the middle. Just a tiny bit so they all stayed. I haven't had and probably a good thing because I am a sloppy crafter. LOL. but I can see where it might help. IDK for sure though. ;)

This was my first try at making a Pom Pom in over 35 years and it was a failure! I could not get the yarn tight enough tying it up and the yarn came out. Do you have any tips for how to tie the middle yarn piece very secure? Thank you.

cool but I would place the binding string through my fingers before I took the yarn off my hand. Less waste cutting off extra to even it out. but other than that...a good clip

I made these pom poms this way & made a mat & some hats & was very embarrassed when they all fell apart, you need to find tutorials that tell you the correct way to make the pom poms that don't fall apart. I wasted a lot of time & wool doing it this way ended up throwing it all out as it wasn't practical.

@hannahdodson11292 жыл бұрын
I must have done something wrong along the way because when I pulled the two remaining long strands they just came out :( I'm taking this as a sign that this hat is better off without a pom pom
