NB: I know I've missed pricing one item, but it is included in the final total, and I also "say" the wrong price for an item (the liner), but the price on screen is correct!

The cost certainly mounts up, I dread to think of what I have spend over twenty odd years on my pond, interesting video🤓

Great video mate, in my opinion, your pond is possibly the best natural looking pond on KZbin, and them fish are stunning. You've done a first class job, good on ye 👍

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it - it's a bit rough at the mo, but once the plants come back it will look better

Am pleased that you decided to keep the channel been following and watching for years on my main account. I am surprised you didn't go with a bog filter

Thanks so much for keeping with me, I've subbed to this channel too. Yep, I thought about a bog filter where the planted wall area is, but ultimately laziness and cashflow ended those thoughts ;)

Love the channel, and love your pond.... Most hobbies are expensive. I daren't add up what I've spent on fishing gear over the years.. I plan on building a pond next year of similar size to yours, also with a few king carp rather than KOI So its nice to get an honest estimate (of sorts).. I just can't help thinking that the "cheaper" the build, the less quality of life the pond inhabitants will have.. Love the natural look of your pond. ... Quite new to your channel, but love the insight from someone who has leant on the job, to a degree. Btw, the electrics are also something I'm a little apprehensive in doing... Still, I have a good 8 months to plan things, and channels like yours are a great help..... All the best.

Thanks so much for watching, subbing and such comprehensive feedback. I spent a ton on fishing equipment over the years too, sometimes it's scary actually adding up what gets spent on things over time, not bankrupt yet fortunately! Still, even with the expense and stress, having a pond is definitely worth it and good luck in getting it done, btw I wish I'd spent a good few months planning, I kinda rushed in to to start with, not a good idea :)
