First match of the semifinals has two powerhouse fighters facing off. It is a ferocious fight between fellow knights Bastion and Tohya with a "thirst for strength" against Youthberk and Raika who thinks "there's no meaning apart from winning". What lies beyond this fight, and what does Raika's Skyfall aim to achieve?

@Radical Ruby I'm by no means an expert on the d series lore(I'm just starting), but from what I'm understanding, he, his allies the sky fall order and the people on the ground(because the keter sanctuary is now a floating island apparently where the rich are in the islandand the poor are just left to look up at the island...) view the keter sanctuary as corrupt, greedy, etc. So they fight against that corruption and basically want to take down the sanctuary(destruct the heavens/cause the sky to fall, if you will) and since the cloud knights (tohyas ride line) are basically the guardians of it, they clash...

As a person who watches sub instead of dub, man dub has some really good voice acting too!! Imo, raika and tohya has more youth in dub and more mature in sub. Love the fight ❤️‍🔥

Most overdress era perfect guards have the clause of "if you have two or more cards in hand, discard one card." so unlike older ones its free at 1 or less cards in hand

Tbf every deck has its strong points and I feel like overall the game's pretty well balanced: Keter for example also has Bastion which becomes very strong during G3/4 turns and especially benefits from the OT since G3 rears will get twin drive, and there's also Hexaorb which gives an extra 10k on trigger checks and has ways of stacking the deck, and then there's MLB and PBD/PBO which use the Blaster engine to kill opposing rears and get extra effects. There's legitimately a ton of variety in the viable strategies despite anime logic where main characters are completely broken because plot

It is and it isn't to an extent, revoldress gives -2 drive so unless you have an effect that gives drive like "gust" or sequana, you don't have a chance for a miracle trigger, the opponent can technically plan their guards around that... the only thing that make it seem overwhelming(IMO) is the support like support like scheneizal which make the power increase to pretty high levels when paired up with the right revolform but again, a sentinel kinda negates that power increase...

@@daveross3353also to add that while not as grade 3 heavy as Bastion, Youthberk does have a reliance on Grade 3s just to get RevolDress to even work. All the Revolforms are Grade 3, thus have no guard value. Compared to Bastion who has several cards that can work on the guard circle, despite being Grade 3.

Bruh wat, no its not, darkstrain is sb2, where as the set order need u discard 2 to let ur unit get boost

dark strain is better i can tell because with the order you must discard a card and that is not a good thing even worse if you have a low hand and not a full board for strategy dark strain is better because think about what happenes with bastion prime when he restands all the rear guards he gives them 10000 k power meaning dark strain boosts with 23k

Budget is why and to avoid a situation whereby there's slideshows instead of proper animation like part of what G Next faced close to the end, it's hard to follow but you get used to it anyways. At least it's better than not even knowing what moves they're playing like in season 1

Personally I liked it. I do agree, there are moments where he could've done better takes. But I think this is the voice actors second time on Bushiroad. And he's had many minor roles in other shows and had to do very childish characters. This is his first main character with a serious personality.

Haven't bothered to check but he sounds like Jonny Bosch which is a veteran voice actor
