What they said about talking to kids like normal people is really true and I didn’t realize it. I always feel unsure about how to interact with kids because I’ve never been around them for too long but they tend to like me and I didn’t understand why, but now I think it’s because I mostly talk to them like I would to anyone else as opposed to using a baby voice. It earns their respect for you which is nice, but funny because it stems from me just feeling unsure about how to talk to them

Alrighty, small little appreciation comment here for this episode. It’s rona rona time and recently I’ve been helping make cloth masks for the community and that means I can finally get around to binging podcasts on Spotify that I haven’t caught up on (this one more specifically, huge fan of both of you guys and your music). I’ve been going through some tough shit recently, especially with quarantine meaning I have to spend the rest of existence, pretty much 24/7 with my dysfunctional family. Some days are good and others are bad, but I understand this shit is just a part of growing up and if you don’t go through it you grow up and you’re suddenly like “Aw fuck social issues what is this how do I handle it”. ANYWAYS, hearing Noel talk about his year and how much he’s grown/got better or whatever the fuck as a person as well as the people that have helped him get there really gave me a lot more hope going forward. Like, Noel, you went through some shit, and you came out on top, especially now with how well Tiny Meat Gang’s music/podcast career has popped off and your individual “channel career” has too. I know cody has also likely went through some shit, not tossing you aside, but this episode really made me have hope for my future hearing how Noel grew as a comedian and moving past corporate shit. Also, shoutout aleena for being a real one and I hope to find me an aleena that can support me through my shit. I know you guys prolly don’t read new old podcast comments but to anyone reading this, there’s hope in this world for you no matter how shitty it made seem at times. Finally, I love Zumba :D
