A truly inspirational conversation with Meera, an Ishaya monk, author and meditation teacher about the power of meditation, surrender, transcending chronic pain and coming from a place of unconditional love.
Meera shared a powerful story of her journey from the depths of suffering to living in a state of profound peace and surrender.
We discussed teaching meditation to children in schools, the challenges imposed by the current school system and lack of nurturing environment for children to naturally thrive.
We are both hopeful for the future and see a huge potential in putting children, families and relationships in the centre of the society's focus.
Meera has written two books ‘Peace or Pain’ and ‘Surrender is good for the Soul’. She also has a workbook to accompany ‘Peace or Pain’ soon to be published.
Peace or pain is a choice and Meera shows people this is possible and how to make the choice. Surrender is a big part of the process because resistance causes suffering.
