I love my local post office...I dropped off an UPS package there then figured it out a few days later so asked them, and they already got it over to UPS. There is a post office right around the corner from my work which is the exact opposite. They make up rules depending on what they want to do that day. I've been told if I have more than 5 packages, I must have a scan sheet...wrong. I not allowed to tape two priority boxes together (not flat rates just regular) ...wrong. I finally just took my packages back and told them they need better training because they are wrong...now I'm scared to drop anything off there...lol.

I have 2 post offices really close to me. "My" post office for my zip code is amazing, great people, but they close at 4 30pm which is the same time my day job ends. Another one around the corner closes at 5pm. But I intentionally drive a little further away to another one - mostly because another has a bigger after hours drop bin, but also because the manager and staff of that other PO location close to me have a TERRIBLE attitude toward customers.

I also use the back strips of labels for packing. I have a sticker that I put on the package that says we proudly recycle packing material.

On the toilet paper topic and going in the shower. One thing I learned while deployed in Kuwait is that going in the shower is called a "Waffle Stomp" because, ya know, the shape of the drain. I did not partake in this activity but it did reinforce the fact that you should wear sandals at all times in all parts of the bathrooms/showers.

Last week i changed all 1500 items from 2.1 to 4 percent and my sales exploded ! Went from 4 or 5 items a day to 15 items a day!!!! And i havent been listing but a few items every other day. When i was listing 5 to 10 items evwry aingle day at 2m1

I would recommend an LLC or a S Corp. To help protect your personal assets. I believe many people try to do this ;) a lot of heavy lifting. Good luck. Can’t wait to see it!

"Septic Anus" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Where the post office is concerned, I've spoken with a human at all 3 that are close-ish to where I live and have gotten permission to drive around back and drop my packages off at the dock. Two of them have large bins on wheels where I drop them but the other one has me just pile them up on the dock.

I tried to google it and 100's other sites came up: District for govt, schools etc. After I found it and looked it over - "onboard sellers to your website and make money off what they sell" Sorry, but sounds a lot like a pyramid. Lets say I want to sign up - which of you do I sell under? Or which of other youtubers? How do you decide who to accept. It just sounds like a mess and I have 0 interest buying or selling. I will stick to Ebay. I also hate that this is distracting people from Ebay. If Ebay suffers, we all suffer. Why mess with what is already working?

Not sure why you don't understand that District should be promoting their site as well. Agreeing with Josh their is risk is losing trust with viewers. You can support a platform but you should realize there are some problems with the concept.

It is the first stage that whatnot took as well. Get sellers first. Then expand to buyers. It is just common sense. What you aren’t getting is that there are other strategies in place as well. On a side note. I have 425k followers on Facebook. The vast majority are not resellers. They just like seeing cool old things that are worth money. Of course there are limitations. Everybody has limitations. Some people chose to except them and not try and others push through the ceiling like crazy lamp lady.

Right now I would not sell on District until these KZbinrs I have to pay for the privilege to sell under their umbrella show how they are going to increase traffic to my District store. Are you going to promote my store on your social media platforms? I am not going to pay 3-5% to a KZbinr if they are not doing anything for me.

Simply being under a KZbinrs marketplace and I make a sale doesn’t not entitle that KZbinr to 3-5% of my sale until that KZbinr can provide tangible proof that what they did contributed to the sale. Right now now hosting a marketplace doesn’t meet that criteria for me. If buyer searches for an item on google that leads them to my item on District the KZbinr has done nothing to earn a commission on my sale. If the KZbinr wants 3-5% of my sale feature my store in an Instagram/Tik Tok post. Shout out my District store in a KZbin vid. No KZbinr is entitled to 3-5% of my sale. especially on a website they did create (creating a Marketplace on District does not count) if they did not nothing to earn the 3-5%. This is where I think many KZbinrs are wrong. Your reseller social media status does not entitle you to a free 3-5% commission for you being you. We support these KZbin resellers by watching their content, using their links, and some from buying their items and now that isn’t enough. How can we milk even more from them. So no I won’t apply to sell on a KZbinrs marketplace until they can show their value to the seller.

I am def selling in Niknax, I would as a Friend to Jocelyn anyways...but there is potential on District... I may join another Marketplace there too (it's dedicated to one category only) and list different items. District is still pretty affordable AND I get the benefit of the District Marketplace "Owner's" customer base, uh yessss. Once District fills out the features we need, I may even make one of my own, just for me alone, all by myself, me me me, to run Live Sales because 5% is cheaper than WhatNots commission
