Service bulletin is just a heads up to techs, recalls are usually related to safety concerns (engine failure can be safety related) and then there are warranty extensions for what would be considered pattern failures. Worked at a honda dealer we did a ton of airbag recalls, and piston ring warranty extensions due to spark plug fouling. Loving my 15 tundra 😅

Man, when you do a deep dive into making content for youtube it gets pretty intense. I couldn't imagine stressing out when you're channel is big enough that it becomes your job. That being said, I've definitely been watching more KZbin for automotive content because Motortrend seems to have mellowed out on adding content.

I currently have an 04 tundra, had a 17 tundra before that. I have looked at the new ones and the recall stuff gives me a little apprehension, but is not a deal breaker. For me with it being new how long will it last. I have 3 Toyotas and between the 3 have 750k miles. How durable will the new tundra be and will it last as long (being a Toyota probably pretty good). Also for me it’s the cost, all the electronics and the not having the v8. Thankfully I’m not currently in the market so it has time to sort out.
